AUGUST FAVOURITESMise En

Hey guys, it's Kelle. I got my August favourites for you. I got skincare, hair, makeup, all that good stuff. So let's just get started.

Lets start with hair first, because many of you have been about my hair. This is Mise En Scenes Damage Care Perfect Repair Serum. This apparently won quite a few beauty awards. I feel that this product really contributes to the condition of my hair.

This is basically an argan oil serum with rose water and royal jelly but its not oily at all. It feel that this really soaks into my hair immediately and I dont feel any oily residue. How I use this is after I wash my hair, I let it dry to about 80% and then I pump one pump and apply it to my ends. This takes care of my dry ends and makes it healthy and soft.

It know its not very easy to find things outside Korea. I got this at stylekorean.Com. It was the cheapest place Ive found. I think it was about 7 ish USD.

Which is really worth it because this is going to last you close to a year. Ill leave the link down below so guys can check it out. Moving onto skincare, this is Heras White Program Radiance Water. Hera is one of my favourite brands.

I got this because I wanted to get rid of my pimple scars. I get really dark pigmentation from pimple scarring and they are the bane of my existence. They take such a long time to fade and by the time they do fade, new pimples come. So it's a cycle.

This does quicken the process. Its a toner with chestnut extract to remove dead skin cells and combats dullness. I use this like how a toner would be, after I wash my face, I take a few drops onto my hands and then apply it onto my face. And then let it absorb into my skin before applying moisturiser.

This I got from Stylekorean as well but the last time I checked, it was sold out. So I will update the link down below when theyre back in stock. My next favourite product is a cleansing tool. This is the Foreo Luna 2 in blue for combination skin.

They have other colours for other skin types too but I chose the combination one because I have an oily T-zone and normal to dry cheeks. So what it does is it uses T-sonic power to gently deep cleanse your skin. How I use it is I apply the cleanser onto my face, press the button to switch it on, move it in circular motions, rinse, press the button again to activate the anti-aging mode which is on the other side and then go along wrinkle-prone areas. I have the Clarisonic as well and I still love to use that especially on days I wear makeup.

But on days where I dont, or when I've used chemical exfoliants on my face, I would prefer to use this because the Clarisonic would be too rough for that. So if you own the Clarisonic, dont feel like you have to run out to get this. But if you want to try a cleansing tool, this is a gentle option. Moving onto my next item, this is Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette.

This was what I used for my Summer Makeup Tutorial video and pretty much the only palette I used the last two months. I was hesitant in getting this at first because Im a neutral girl, and the bright oranges and pinks kinda scared me. I didn't know how it was going to turn out on me. But Im so glad I got it because they arent actually that bright once applied.

They melt into your skintone and just lend a warm hint of colour on your eyes. I dont really fancy the packaging though. This faux velvet texture is going to get real dirty real quick but I can look pass that for whats inside. M last favourite is a TV show, Mr Robot, and Im on Season 2 now.

It is hands down my favourite show to date. Mr Robot is about a guy named Elliot who is a cybersecurity engineer and hacker, who suffers from social anxiety and depression. Hes being recruited by this man who goes by the name Mr Robot to bring down one of the world's largest conglomerates, eventually to rid the world of debt. This isnt anything like those old cheesy hacker movie where they just whack nonsense on the keyboard.

This is proper hacking and its scary. The entire show, which by the way, was meant to be a film, has such visually stunning shots and amazing dialogue from Elliot who often breaks the fourth wall talking to the audience. So anyways, give the show a go and you will be hooked. And thats all of my favourites.

I hope you enjoyed this round up for August. Make sure you subscribe to see when I upload a new video next, and click the like button if you enjoyed. Thanks for watching and Ill see you soon. Bye!.

Interested in antique tools? Today at the House of Hacks, that's check-out
what I have loaded in the Jeep. [Intro] Hi Makers, Builders and Do-it-yourselfers. Harley here. Over Thanksgiving holiday, my wife and I took
a road trip to California to visit my Dad and step-Mom.

And while we were there, I spent a couple
days with my Dad cleaning out and organizing his workshop. In the process, he gave me a Jeep full of
antique tools that he got from my Granddad, his Dad's, workshop when my Granddad passed
away, it's been close to 10 years ago now. When he passed away, I got a lot of his tools
and I currently have them down in my workshop and use them on a regular basis. Over the years he and my Grandmother, for
Christmas and birthday, would routinely give me tools for my own use.

And it's rare that I work on a project that
I don't use at least some of the tools that they've given me. Many times, most of the tools I use were given
to me by them. And so, it's a cool legacy that they've passed
down in this regard. My paternal Grandfather was probably the one
grandparent that I was closest to in terms of interests that we shared.

He was a self-taught machinist and had an
extensive workshop behind his house. He had a metal lathe that I now have. And did quite a bit of machining on his own,
just for general projects around the house and cars and things like that. So it's quite an honor for me to be able to
get some more of his tools and outfit my workshop a little bit more.

Some of these things that I got are actually
things that I want to refurbish and put on the shelf sort of as museum pieces almost. I won't be planning on using them. I also got a library of books all on machining
that I'm looking forward to reading and learning more about machining. I wouldn't call myself a machinist by any
stretch of the imagination but I do have his metal lathe and would like to learn how to
use it more effectively in projects and make more projects out of metal.

Let's start unpacking. [Music] OK! So this is the haul. I've got a table saw and a lathe and these
were purchased by my Granddad in probably the mid-50s or so. They came as a set of three.

There's also, that I've had for awhile, a
jigsaw. And they're all kind of the same style. They're all Craftsman. They're kind of like an entry level, beginner's
Craftsman set for that time period.

My plan for these is to kind of fix them up,
clean the rust off them. I haven't decided if I want to paint them
or not, kind of get them back to more period colors. Most of the paint has kind of chipped off
over the years. So I'm kind of up in the air over what I want
to do with finish on these.

But I do want to at least clean them up and
mount them with probably a some sort of, maybe an inexpensive drill or something, just to
make them turn as kind of a demonstration unit for those three units. The jigsaw that I have down in the basement
is probably the one that's in the roughest shape. It needs to be completely disassembled. It has more rust on it and it has some wood
parts on it that need to be remanufactured.

So that's kind of a side project that I have
for the winter months. I also got this arbor press. It's a small bench mount unit. It was cracked.

I'm not sure how it got cracked or where it
got cracked but my Granddad did a repair on it and mounted it to a really heavy base. The base probably weighs as much as the arbor
press itself does. But that'll be nice if I need to do any pressing
for anything. I picked up an anvil.

It's probably... I'm not sure exactly the weight on it. It's somewhere in the 80 to 120 pound range,
I'm guessing, just based on how heavy it is to lift. I think it's heavier.

My Dad thinks it's lighter. He thinks it's about the weight of an 80 pound
bag of concrete. I think it's a little bit more than my 100
pound weight set down in the basement. But it's somewhere in that range.

One person can move it by themselves. I got an old Kodak slide projector. I've got a bunch of slides that I actually
want to transfer to digital and make a home movie out of it. My grandparents had slides for their 50th
wedding anniversary and there's also notes in there that they read as they did the slide
presentation.

So I want to redo that kind of in video format
just for some family history. I think that'd be kind of cool. I got a later model sander/grinder unit that
takes the 1 inch wide sanding strips. It's also a Craftsman but much newer than
some of these other things but it's still old enough that it's all pretty heavy duty
steel.

So I'm guessing that's probably 70s vintage
would be my guess. I've got some corner clamps that are new that
my Dad didn't want anymore. He'd picked those up a couple years ago for
a project he was working on. So those aren't antiques, anything special.

I got a couple task lamps: a black one and
a white one. We'll put those up, probably one in my wife's
sewing room and one in the workshop, just for general task illumination. Again, those aren't super old. I'm guessing probably 70s vintage would be
my guess.

I got a wood vise that I'm not sure exactly
what the vintage is on it. It is probably, I'm guessing, 50s vintage. I got an old manual blowtorch that ought to
be kind of fun for the museum shelf. It'll kind of go along with these.

I'll clean it up a little bit but I don't
really anticipate using that. Propane torches are so much easier to use
than these. I got a vacuum pump. I have no idea what the condition is on that
or really anything about it.

I don't know when my Granddad picked it up
or what he used it for. But figured that'd be a handy thing to have
around the shop. A couple T-squares. Nothing of particular note there.

Those are relatively new. My Dad bought those in the 80s I think. I got an old microscope that my Granddad had. And a bunch of books.

And really the big unit is this jigsaw and
the mounting base that my Granddad made for it. Those are pretty heavy. I'm guessing the mounting base is probably
upwards of 80 to 100 pounds and the saw itself is probably, again I'm guessing, probably
over 100 pounds based on what it takes to lift it. It's all cast-iron.

Again a Craftsman, vintage, probably the mid
to late 50s. I got some sheet aluminum that my Dad had
lying around the place that he didn't have any need for anymore. So I brought that home, just to have stock
on hand for various projects. And then I got a box over there of small hand
tools and books.

I'll go over those in the workshop down below
after I get out of the wind and where it's a bit more quieter. I've got a bunch of books in here: Gas and
welding, How to use power tools, just some old things, a pattern making book. That ought to be pretty interesting to peruse
through. This is some project templates that Granddad
had lying around.

One thing that I got, I think some of it is
in here, was a... The guts of a clock. This is a pattern for the case. A couple articles on miscellaneous things
in and around the workshop, making some tools and sharpening.

Just some articles my Dad had pulled out. An old magazine, Science and Mechanics in
the workshop. A book on the basics of welding. I'd like to get into welding here in the relatively
near future so thought that'd be a good text to just kind of read up on.

Directions for a water level. The water level's in here somewhere. Probably the most interesting in here's a
multi-set library on machine shop practices. So there's, I think, eight volumes in here
going from Machine Shop Work and Pattern Making and Foundry Work and Tool Making and Metallurgy
and Blueprint Reading and Mechanical Drawing.

I'll put this up so it's readable here. There's the whole set of eight books like
that so you can read those titles. That ought to be interesting to go through
and see what's in there. Grandpa was a self taught machinist and this
will be interesting to go through.

I think there's some markings in there, things
that he made, notes that he took, things like that. Some string. Dad probably threw that in there at the last
minute. Some workshop projects and idea books.

Sheet metal shop practice book. More shop machining workbook. This one was precision measurement and gauging
techniques. Again, that ought to be interesting to go
through and look at.

I'm not sure what this is... Machine Shop Operations. Oh, just... This is in the same series as
that eight series book, same manufacturer.

More information on how to do machine work. That was some lathe tool grinding stuff. Cutting threads. And more machine work for the lathe.

This will be really good to be going through
and getting that information. I'm really looking forward to that. Making Whirligigs. Another book.

This is a face plate for that old lathe that
I brought home with me to just kind of complete that kit. Band clamp that Dad had lying around. This is just an aluminum project box. Again just miscellaneous stuff.

Put that in the projects stuff. Somehow I got all these screws. Miscellaneous sheet metal, or not sheet metal,
machine screws that Dad had around. Again, I thought that had gotten left there
at Dad's but apparently it got migrated to my box.

Some sanding belts for that grinder. I was actually looking for one of these and
I got two of them. These are solvent containers so they're completely
contained for solvents, so you don't have fumes in the shop. But they have measured, metering valves here
so you go like that and get just a measured amount to put on a rag or something.

I got two of those. This is one that Granddad had... Something
had happened to the bottom. I think they're made out of brass and so usually
they're impervious to chemicals.

Something apparently happened to the bottom
because the bottom had been cut out and Grandpa had soldered in a new base. The other one is in its original condition. These are probably vintage 50s or so. There's another one buried in there.

OK. This is an interesting piece. This is the optics out of a Norden bombsight. Grandpa, after the war, found a Norden bombsight
at a surplus store and had taken it apart just to see how it worked.

This is all that remains of that one that
he took apart. The machining on this is pretty amazing. It has a mirror, some optics that go through. It looks like there's a prism inside here
that things bounce around through.

I've never really investigated it. I don't know really exactly how they work. Dad mentioned that when they got close to
their target, the control of the plane was actually transferred to the bombardier and
he'd guide the plane in through the Norden bombsight and the bombsight apparently was
somehow connected to the avionics on the plane. Those planes all had mechanical, they didn't
even have hydrolics, they were all cable driven going to all the control surfaces on the plane.

So apparently this was some sort of, kind
of big mechanical computer that the bombsight was connected to the cables controlling the
plane and it just, the bombardier just kind of guided it in. That was kind of one of the secret weapons
of World War II for the Allies. So that was kind of interesting. I got that for the ol' museum shelf.

An interesting piece. I'll clean it up a little bit. It's a little dusty and stuff so I'll take
some Q-tips to it and clean it up and it'll be kind of an interesting to look at. Probably inspire me to go look at the Wikipedia
page for the Norden bombsight just to see how they really operated.

As I proceed to dump things all over the place. This is just a fluid level for hook up to
a garden hose. So you can hook up a garden hose between these
to measure things... To get things level between two distant points.

Like if you're trying to get a fence level
across a large distance outside in the garden area or something. Put water in it, connect a garden hose in
between. Water seeks its own level on both sides and
so the top of the water will be at the same level regardless of how far apart these are. Kind of cool little instrument.

Very simple. And I just dumped a whole bunch of screws
and nuts and things all over the box. The important things in here are these screws
that hold the jigsaw to the base that Grandpa made. Some drill bits with counter-sinks.

More books. These are all electronics books. Oscilloscope. Solid state electronics.

Motor control circuits. Experimental circuits. Just things to play around with. Increase general knowledge.

A couple inspirational signs Dad had and apparently
somehow they managed to make it in here. This one talks about requirements being important. Two out of three isn't good enough. And this one says: On the plains of hesitation
bleach the bones of countless missions, who at the dawn of victory sat down to rest...
And while resting...

Died. A couple books that I actually have on my
reading list and so now I don't have to go out and buy them. Good to Great and Built to Last, both my James
Collins. Those are things that I've been wanting to
read.

Put that on the end table in the bedroom. Read before going to bed. A shaper. Sureform I think is what they call them.

It's basically just a wood rasp on a plane
type handle system. These are really handy sometimes when you're
doing rough forming of wood. Here's a small hand plane that needs a little
bit of refurbish work. It's a little rusty.

Just kind of clean that up and put it on the
shelf with the other planes to work with. A spoke shave. Dad's had this forever. It just needs a little bit of clean-up and
have a new edge put on it.

It'll hurt you if you're not careful but it's
not very sharp for woodworking at the moment. So that needs to be cleaned up. I think I put... I think you saw in the earlier part of the
video the slide projector.

These are a bunch of slides that I need to
go through and sort and take a look at. A brace for drilling holes by hand. Another hand drill. Sometimes these are handy if you need more
control than you get with an electric drill.

Slow speed. Things where you need to see what's going
on. Here's another one of those solvent containers. The interesting thing about this and I didn't
realize this until I was taking a closer look at these...

These actually have different throws on them,
so you can get different amounts of measured liquid. This one has a smaller volume amount on the
release than the first one did. And here you can see the size difference between
the two. The one that Grandpa had repaired is probably
about an inch shorter than the standard one.

Again, I was looking for these online a number
of months ago and I wasn't able to find any. So I don't know if they don't make them or
if I just didn't know what to search for. Some hair trimmers. Old manual ones.

Again just for the museum. Here's a hole cutter for the brace. This is an interesting tool. One of those that if you need it, you need
this specific tool but you'll probably rarely need it.

I'll just put it on the shelf for future possibilities. It's actually a sheet metal crimping tool
designed to crimp the edges of sheet metal for when working with duct work. So I don't really do much duct work. I've done one small project around the house
but, you know, Dad didn't have a need for it and was going to throw it away if I didn't
take it.

Figured I'd save it from the dust bin. Oh, and here's the innards for that clock
I was telling you about that Grandpa had. The bag looks like it's been unopened from
the manufacturer. You can see in there all the bits and gears
and spring and there's the pendulum for it.

A couple pieces of plexiglass. Just to have on hand for the scrap pile. This is for sharpening chisels and plane blades. You run it across your stone and it keeps
it at a consistent angle.

I think these are some impact drivers. So, you hit this on the end with a hammer
and it will impart a rotational force to help break things loose if they're tightened up. These are high strength bits to go with it
because you can break bits if it's not designed for this kind of use. Another rasp type device for forming wood
with a spare blade.

A handle for safety razor blades. All the blades I have, or handles, are where
you scrape like this. This allows you to scrape sideways. I figured that'd be kind of handy to have
hanging on the wall.

A putty knife. Actually this is an ink knife. Grandpa was a printer so he'd use this for
putting ink on the press. A nut cracker.

This will split hex nuts if they're... Put
the hex nut in there and tighten this down until it comes off the bolt. Another book. This is on the Lord's Prayer by Phillip Keller.

I enjoy him as an author. I haven't read that book of his so I thought
I'd grab it. A cutter for a milling machine. It can be used in the lathe also.

Dad doesn't have any tools that he can use
that in so I got that. OK. You may not be able to see this real well. We'll see if that'll focus on that.

But that's a... It's shaped the way and set type was shaped
so it would go inline with those things. But it has etched on the front of it the Lord's
Prayer. It's just kind of a curiosity from the printing
industry.

Tape measure with double sided tape on one
side to stick it to the workbench top. A wrench for something. I have no idea what that's for or how that
made it in there. A whetstone.

Very fine grade. It needs to be cleaned off. But that's for like putting a final polish
on honing a blade. Miscellaneous 9-volt connectors.

Put that in the electronics bin. A bunch of bolts for different things. I'm not sure what. Some bolts for cars.

Specialty bolts for... I've got a Skylark. I've got a '65 Buick Skylark that that's for. Some more miscellaneous car parts.

More slides. Oh. These are the notes for my Grandparent's 50th
wedding anniversary slide presentation that they did. And so it has it organized by title and who
was...

What it is and what they were saying and who was saying it. I really want to go through and kind of redo
that as a video just for family history purposes. Units in the Machining of Metal. It's a book primarily of machining metal and
how to do measurements.

All machining. Ought to be pretty interesting to go through
and learn about. A deburring device. And the rest are all just miscellaneous small
parts that fell out of the bins.

This is an on/off switch plate that my Dad
had made, oh gosh, a long, long time ago. He never actually finished the project that
he was using it on but I thought that'd be kind of fun to use for something. Polish up the brass and it should look nice
for some project. And that's it for this box.

Well now I need to find a place for all this
stuff in the workshop. As you saw, I have a wide variety of interests,
from machining to electronics and things in between. If workshop and house projects of this nature
are things that you're interested in, I encourage you to subscribe and I'll see you again in
the next video. Until then go make something.

Perfection's not required. Fun is!.

#NANDAARSYINTAGIVEAWAYRosy Makeup Look (Garden Party)YUMI

Hy guys! Welcome to my channel. And this is my first submission for #NandaArsyintaGiveaway So i'm startup with my eye first. And here, i brush my eyebrow so i'ts more presentable. After that, i frame my brow using eyebrow pencil by Maybelline.

Then i fill it in from the middle part to the back. And i brush it again so i'ts more natural. Then i use concealer palette by City Color. Using the top right color, i apply it under my brow so it's look more presentable.

Then i blend it downward cause i want to make it as my eyebase. Next i use a eyeshadow palette by NYX. Using this color, i apply it on my eyelid to set the eyebase. And i use this brown eyeshadow, as a transition color on my crease.

After that, i apply this dark brown eyeshadow by Emina eyeshadow palette, to add dimention on my crease. Continue, i apply this Wardah burgundy eyeshadow color, on the inner and the outer part of my eyelid. And leave the middle part empty. Then to clean up the middle part,  i apply the same concealer, and i blend it.

Next, i mix the light blue and light pink colour, and apply it on the middle part of my eyelid. Then blend it again. After that, i apply this green eyeshadow color all over my lower lash line Cause that eyeshadow does'nt show up, i'm back to the NYX palette and apply a emerald green color on the outer part Then i use this champaigne eyeshadow  on my inner eye corner. Next i apply a eyeliner pencil by Just Miss in Pinky Promise on the middle part of my eyelid.

After that, i make a wing liner using Wardah gel eyeliner. I aapply it from the outer part to the inner part so it's easier. To make the eyeliner long lasting even more, i apply a matte black eyeshadow on top. Oh ya, by the way all of the products description will be on the description box, so make sure you check it Then i curl my lashes.

Continue, i apply a mascara by Emina on my upper lashes, and lower lashes And last step for the eye makeup, i apply a fake lashes near my upper lashes. The eye makeup is done, now we move to the face makeup The first step for face makeup, i prime all over my face using primer spray by City Color. Next, i mix two of this colour from concealer palette by City Color, and apply a thin layer all over my face Why i directly use concealer? Cause i don't want there are too much layer for the face makeup, so it's more light weight. Then i mix two of this color again, and apply it under my cheek bones and on the side of my nose.

After that, i blend it all using sponge by Tammia. Continue, i set it all  using Zero Sebum powder by Etude House. Then i'm shading my face using highlighter and contour palette by Catrice. I apply it under my cheek bones, around my forehead, anda little bit on my nose.

To make my face look warmer, i apply a bronzer by Catrice on the same place with the shading. Next i mix three blushes from eyeshadow palette by NYX, and apply it on the apple of my cheeks. After that, i apply a highlighter from Catrice palette on the high points on my face, like on my cheek bones, nose, and on my cupid's bow. Lastly for the lips, i use matte lipstick by Just Miss in a nude pink color, i apply it using a lip brush all over my lips.

And that's all my final look. Hopefully it inspired all you guys. And thank you so much for watching, don't forget to subscribe, like, and leave a comment down below. Wait for my second submission, and catch you later.

Bye, see you soon;).

If you want your hair strong and shiny, sometimes the most important thing is actually your diet so make sure you're getting the nutrients and vitamins you need in your food and some vitamins that are super great for your hair are Vitamins A, C, D, E, B6, B9, B12, Biotin, lodine and Zinc before when you're travelling or have a really crazy schedule having a supplement can actually help fill any missing gaps. You can get these off their website or Amazon and I've linked it down below.

I love these amazing hairstyles I see on Pinterest but I always feel like they are so difficult and time consuming, that I never thought I could do one. But here's a super easy, pull out braid for you guys that you can do in five minutes. And it looks so amazing you'd never guess how easy it was. And plus, you don't even need to know how to braid.

All you need are just some small, clear elastic bands and a clip. Now just take a small section of hair from the top of your head and tie it into a pony tail. Clip it up and take the remaining top section from around your temples. Pull it back And tie it just under your first pony tail.

Unclip the first pony tail. Split it in half and then flip your second one up and clip it. Next, add some more hair into the first pony tail And then tie it again just under your second pony tail. Do the same thing and unclip your previous sections.

Split it in half and then pull your new section up through the middle and clip. I like to call this process the 'Split-N- Clip'. Now, take the remaining hair and tie it into the pony tail and you should have no loose hair left at this point. Now, repeat the split and clip process all the way until you reach the end of your hair.

Also, at this point, you wanna note that the two sections that you've created should have a similar amount of hair in them. So, if you have one much thicker than the other, then your braids may look a little bit uneven. But you may like that. It's completely up to you.

Once you finished the split and clip, just tie the ends together with an elastic band. And we're gonna start pulling apart this braid to make it look fuller, thicker, and super amazing Simply start at the top section of the braid and pull it apart with your fingers. You wanna keep the middle intact to try and hide your elastic bands, but feel free to pull out the edges of the braid as much as you want. Then work your way all the way down until you are happy with it! You can make it messy, you can make it neat.

It's really up to you, and you can make it look however you like. You can leave the front of your hair as it is, but I like to pull out some bits to really soften up the look. And now you're done! I found this so straightforward to do And oh, my gosh, how pretty does this look? Sulfates are industrial-strength cleaning ingredients that you should avoid in your shampoo, especially if your hair is color treated. You'll literally be washing your two-hundred-dollar dye job down the drain.

Instead, try using SLS-free shampoo. It'll usually say on the bottle if it's sulfate-free, or otherwise, you can look in the ingredients to see if it does contain sulfates. These shampoos not only damage your hair less, but you'll help you keep your color in for longer. This is crazy! I'm actually ready on time for once! Just got to pin this flyaway and then, I'm ready to g...

What?! Where did it..? I was just holding it... Okay. Let's try this again. What's going on? Who's taking them?! (Voiceover) If you're like me, you'll feel like you lose your bobby pins all the time.

Even if I'm literally holding one, 1 second later, it'll be gone and I'll have no idea where it went. A great way to keep track of them is to use a tic-tac container, which is super cute and gives you an excuse to buy more tic tacs. Another thing you can do is to stick a magnetic strip on the side of an accessories holder or your dressing table or anywhere really like on the wall, on your mirror and the magnet will just hold them in place neatly until you're ready to use it and plus when you take them out at night, you have somewhere to put them as well instead of just throwing it on the table or on the bed, which is what I usually do. And my bobby pins have never looked so neat before in my whole entire life! Man...

She's so pretty, but I'm here looking like a potato. That's the hair I want! I want that -- that one. I want that. *Sigh* I'll never get curls like her, I don't even have a hair curler.

If you want some curls, but, you don't have a curling wand, you can actually use a metallic utensil to create the same effect. Just heat it up with your hair dryer and when it's hot, twist your hair around it. But be careful not to burn yourself because the metal does actually get quite hot. Just keep in mind; thinner handles will create crimps and the bigger, the rounder utensil, the bigger the curl.

I can't wait to meet all my friends we are going to have a picnic. Its so sunny:) I am going to do small braid actually. I think that looks super cute! Gonna tie it with a band and... Where? Umm...

Wait? No. No, that's not a-- what-- what I want. Talking: So if you don't have any small, clear, elastics for your braids, this next hack will be a lifesaver. Just braid your hair -- as per usual -- and at the end, stick a bobby pin vertically up through the middle of the braid, using the rounded end to wrap around the end of the braid to stop it from coming undone and to secure it in place.

You can hide the rest of the bobby pin in the braid as well so you don't see it. To hide the end of the bobby pin, all you need to do is get a bit of excess hair, twist it around the bits that you can see and then, kind of just wedge it through the bobby pin at the back then you're done! From a distance, your braids look magically tied together like nothing is holding it in place and it looks so super "tumblr-y!" Regrowth is my #1 worst enemy and literally the bane of my unicorn hair existence. A simple thing to do, is to part it in a zigzag. By doing this, your regrowth line won't be as obvious and it'll look like an ombre effect.

Lastly, you can try and hide your roots with a cute headband! Just put your headband over your roots, and you're done. Oh my gosh, I am so late. Why does this always happen to me?! Ok, I just dried my hair, do my makeup... Oh my god, what to do? I only got like, 10 minutes...

Think... You look like you could use some help there, huh???? Wengie: Can you, can you hold my hair dryer for me while I do my makeup? Imaginary friend: Uhh, what do you think I am? I am literally just your imaginary friend. Wengie: Oh. :( Imaginary friend: But I have an idea! *Snaps Fingers* Honestly, guys, I thought this was a little bit silly when I saw it, but this is actually awesome and it totally works.

Just pop your hair dryer into a drawer to hold it up or you can stick one of those hair drying... Holder rings on a wall somewhere, it might take a bit of time to find a good angle for the hair dryer, but this is something I can definitely see myself doing because I am always late. Or if you're not late and you're just lazy like me, you can use this hack to dry your hair while going on your phone. So, yeah, totally sign me up for this one! Don't you hate it when you're studying and you just want an easy way to clip your hair out from your face, but your clip just keeps slipping off? Sometimes, clips are just made of super slippery plastic material, just, that just won't grip to your hair.

But don't throw them away yet. You can easily improve the grip by getting a hot glue gun and gluing the inside of each tooth with a strip of hot glue. When it dries, it'll work like those clips you can buy from the store with the non-slip ends that are probably twice the price. So I just saved you home bodies some money and a trip to the drugstore.

So this is by far the easiest way to hack a messy bun, and it works for me every time. Just get a sock that you don't use anymore and cut off the toe section. And then roll it up until it looks like a band or a... A sock donut, maybe? I'm going to braid a piece of hair to one side because I want to show you guys how different a messy bun can look by just adding this one extra element, but you can totally skip this if you'd like.

Next, tie your hair up in a ponytail and you can do it high or low depending on where you want your bun to sit. Grab your sock donut and pull the ends of your hair through, split it around the sides, and then start rolling your hair around it all the way up the ponytail. Keep flipping it up and your hair will literally cover up your sock donut, and it'll end up looking like a perfect messy bun and you won't be able to know that there's actually a sock underneath. The amazing thing is that the elasticity of the sock actually does a really great job in holding the bun together without any hair ties, but you can use some bobby pins to tidy up any parts that are sticking out or secure it.

You want to neaten it up as well. But yeah, that's pretty much it. How cute is this? Look guys, I love how the braid just makes it look so elegant and by adding some flowers in this, you could totally even wear this to a wedding or a special occasion! And all in under five minutes! Oh my gosh you guys! How cool are some of these hair styles? I thought they were so complicated, but they ended up being so simple and if you guys wanted to do some of these, don't forget to share it with me on #wengiecorns 'Cuz I love talking with you guys during the week it just makes me super happy when it helps you guys. But yeah let's totally hang out during the week on my social media, so don't forget to follow me on Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram and my vlog channel.

But until then, I am gonna miss you guys so much and I'll see you guys next week, bye! Love you!.

4 Easy Steps to Control Hair FallThe Ultimate Hair Care Routine

4 Easy Steps

Hair fall is one of the most common hair concerns faced by Indian women owing to many factors such as stress, pollution and chemical treatments and the list never ends! Hi, Im Sneha Daftary, your hair expert and Ill help you get your hair fall under control to make your hair strong, healthy and beautiful again. A lot of us have a habit of simply coating layers and layers of oil without really massaging it well. This has some serious drawbacks. No Results Double the shampoo Dry hair And worst of all, HAIR FALL! Always remember, its your scalp that needs the oil not your dead ends.

Im using this Anti-Hair Fall Hair Oil from Himalaya thats enriched with Bhringaraj and Amla that help promote hair growth and strengthen your hair from root to tip. Start with a small amount of oil on a cotton pad and gently dab it into your scalp. Do the dabbing until youve covered your entire scalp and just briskly run your hands through your hair with a coin size amount. When your scalp is tight, the blood circulation is restricted and that pretty much explains the cause of slow hair growth.

Youve just got to get your scalp moving and loosen it up with the help of your finger tips, NOT fingernails! Starting from your temples, gently massage your scalp all the way to the back. Once youre done with a mini massage session, wrap a hot towel around your hair and leave it for 30 minutes to an hour, which is just enough time for any oil to work its magic. When choosing a shampoo for hair fall, go for milder and herbal products that are way more gentle on the scalp and ends. My current favourite shampoo is the Himalaya Anti Hair Fall Shampoo as it is specifically meant to deal with hair fall.

The trick to shampooing the right way, is to lather the product on your hands and then work it in your hair in a downward motion from scalp to ends. I shampoo my hair without using any water. Since water and oil do not get along at all, it does the same job with half the effort, product and water plus no over drying and no hair fall. You can go in for another round of normal shampooing if theres a need.

Post shampooing, Im just going to apply some of Himalayas Anti Hair Fall Conditioner to shut the hair cuticles. This is formulated with Bhringraja and Chickpea that nourishes the hair, helps prevent excess hair fall and leaves your hair soft, silky and smooth. Apply it from the mid-section of your hair to the tips, using your fingers. Make sure you stay away from the scalp while conditioning as you dont want excess product build up on a sensitive hair fall prone scalp.

Many people experience hair fall especially when their hair is wet! The trick to control this is by ending your routine with a good, healthy leave in cream. Leave in creams tackle frizz and add shine & texture. I use the Himalaya Anti Hair Fall Cream which contains Bhringraja and Amla that help promote hair growth. So, here's what you need to do: Post your hair wash, towel dry your hair.

Take a small amount of the cream depending on your hair length and run it through the lengths of your hair strands. It naturally dries up without making your hair look greasy. If you dont prefer oiling OR have colored hair, then you can skip that step altogether and massage your scalp with this cream instead, and leave it on for 30 minutes before washing it off. There you go! Your at-home haircare routine For Fabulous Hair.

Try this at least for the next 6 months if you want to see the best results. Apart from these external habits, also test out if there any hormonal issues that are leading to excess hair fall! Hope you found this video helpful and until next time, Stay Tuned, Stay Glamrs!.

Single BEST Self-Defense Product on the Street or at Home-Women or Men.

Single BEST Self-Defense
Hi folks I'm Bob Schrupp physical therapist, Brad Heineck physical therapist, together we are the most famous physical therapists on the internet, in our opinion of course Bob. Single best self-defense weapon on the street or home, we're gonna give you the number one option that you should do if you're trying to protect yourself Man or woman and This is something that when my daughter went to college I. Investigated cuz I wanted the best thing that she could have and this is it so we're gonna get into it But we're gonna talk about how this works, yeah, we're gonna get into the different options You know cuz there are other options besides the one we're gonna show today But we're gonna tell you why We still think this is the best one And I think it's very clear, but Bob before we go any further if you are new to our channel Please take a second to subscribe to us. We promise we won't hurt you.

We provide videos on how to stay healthy, fit, pain-free and safe, and we also upload every day There's a subscription button here or here Also go over to Facebook and like us because Brad and I as children were not liked and therefore We are trying to turn things around Alright so first Brad Why don't you give your background? So we these people know that you're qualified to talk about this subject. Right as you know we are physical therapists We have had this channel for years But on occasion a topic like this comes up in the news or something where I've had 17 years studying the martial arts and when I got to my second degree test, he's a second degree black belt, I emphasized my studies into self-defense, and I actually organized and taught professionals Classes for people, typically women actually it was all women and I did groups and I did free ones as well But for a number of years, I did that so in order to be effective I studied on this topic from the professionals from actually I got a lot of information from police officers One from Milwaukee where I got a lot of information from, which I'm going into in the next video and one from Chicago where they really get into a lot of this Oh, it's a big issue, right so I feel confident with this information I do want to mention your book too Brad, now this has nothing to do with self-defense. This is just more for stretching and preparing Staying injury-free. Well just read the title it's exactly what it is "Martial Arts Manual for Stretching, Strengthening, and Treatment of Common Injuries" so it's training, how to be a good marshal artist It's great for instructors.

Yeah, it's down below Go ahead and get it if you're into that field so okay, so what is the best self-defense? I'm gonna have to ask you Brad cuz I have no idea Well the first thing you know people'll say to take some martial arts, you know learn to defend yourself learn how to punch kick What are the like the most vulnerable sites - you're gonna strike? Well, those are all good things, but I can tell you from 17 years you're not going to learn it in a 10 minute video, it will take years of a lot of practice repetition repetition and then anybody, they'll tell you if you get in a conflict, chances are you're going to get hurt Yeah, so you want to avoid the conflict, so hand to hand especially if you're a smaller person or maybe a little more elderly There's so many factors, so the next thing other people are saying I'll get a nine-millimeter pistol well You know that's true. It's gonna be a good self-defense tool You know and in a lot of states in the United States They are legal you can conceal carry etc, but you really know how to handle them, You just don't learn how to use it and shoot it at the range once and learn, you have to go repeatedly at least once a month and feel very comfortable With that, well there are so many issues. I mean are you even comfortable in shooting somebody Do you want a gun around your house with children, I mean, the list goes on and on. So that one's probably not the best, the next one is mace or pepper spray And I'm thinking you know that's not a bad idea And that's what I had gotten for my daughters, some pepper spray The problem that could be with that is number one you have to be accurate with it And there's a certain distance that it's no longer accurate, if it's dark It's kind of hard to see where you're spraying So that brings us on to what what I got for my daughter after studying this and that is A simple tool like a flashlight, but it's not just any flashlight.

You need to get a tactical they're called a tactical flashlight In the military is where these originally started as my understanding, and they're very bright You need to have a lanyard on it, so if you drop it. You don't lose it That's gonna go on your wrist, got to be a good lanyard. Well, actually the name of this one is Brad, I'm gonna They have a whole bunch of them, there's a lot of them. This is the M1X Striker and we'll put a link down below so you can see it I don't remember how much it was to be honest with you.

Yeah. Yeah, I think they're between 50 and 70 dollars depending on where you get it It's not a cheap buy, but they're well-built, they're sealed, they got o ring seals, if you're in the water They're gonna hold up well to that atmosphere and they're all aluminum. They're built well that will just The button is on the back here You okay, Lonnie? Yeah I think I've got this set on the brightest setting, now these the distance you can be quite a ways away and if you get it in their eyes They're gonna see white lights now with this what I did is I took a pair of sunglasses And I shined it up against the wall, and I looked at it And it was too bright Okay, and just today I took my sunglasses on and I very quickly went on and off with it into my eyes It doesn't hurt painful, but it hurts your eyes And I kept seeing these white lights a couple minutes afterwards, so the idea is someone's coming up upon you And you flash them and probably stay flashing and he's gonna be blinded or she's gonna be blinded. You know if you cannot see, you're in a pretty good position to get out of there, okay, I wonder if it would blind a dog? No, seriously.

If a dog was coming at you Maybe it's a stupid thing to say, no it's not, but the one thing that's really critical First of all you have to know how to use it. It's got different settings And you want to set it so it's at the brightest So you have to be comfortable with it, and I'm gonna talk about how to hold it, and how to turn it on and whatnot But you need to be confident with it and confident in yourself Sure, so you know and I'm talking to people if you're raising children They're at that age where you want them to know how to defend themselves, you have to teach them That nobody has the right to touch them Which, everyone doesn't know that, particularly people in power, you know a teacher, You know a politician, a priest. Yeah, you have to know that nobody has the right to touch you and you have the right, under any circumstance You have the right to stop it with as much force is necessary to stop it. Okay.

That's really critical to teach that to your children I think the other thing Brad which we mentioned in another video about not getting groped is about posture and that if you're walking along like you know like this mozzie wowsy the world hates me That's what I I saw. I was reading one article where a criminal was saying We call that the Vic walk, victim walk and we know that's someone we're gonna target, right easy prey You want to have confidence and walk Like you know where you're going, you have to have you have your head up, be aware You're not just looking at one spot or looking at the tall buildings if you're in the big city But you're looking around, you're aware of your surroundings and you look like you know where you're going and you do, because you don't want to look like a tourist which is also somebody's that's gonna be a victim, the other thing about confidence with your children This is one of the things I did with my daughter. Lonnie you got to focus on this, this is kind of cool I got her for this for Christmas, which wasn't a big deal for Christmas present in her mind But can you can see a little kitty looking into the mirror and in the mirror There's actually a tiger, so what does it say? What matters most is how you see yourself So every day, this is right at her mirror where she combed her hair, it was there for Seven years so every day she looked at this whether or not she knew she was reading it or not You know if you look at the psychology Hopefully that's a little message, and I think when she played basketball on defense She was pretty aggressive, so I don't know if that was coming out but in a self defense situation This has to instinctively come in, that you're confident yourself. You know if you got a fly shot You can put it in someone's eyes and take care of business Brad the other point, are you gonna point out these sharp edges? Yeah, exactly, there's more to the light than just a light right, so now We're gonna get into you have confidence.

You have to know how to use it Walking like you know where you're going, posture How you present yourself, being aware and then with this you have it like this now my daughter when she has hers she has it in her backpack and She keeps it in her bag when she's with the group. If she's by herself she pulls it out She puts it on her wrist, and then you hold it like this You don't want to advertise that you've got a tactical flashlight, you hold it like this It's out of the way. It's ready to be used. There is a thumb button here, okay, and now this one I don't want to go through the details because each light's a little bit different but on this one I push it on once and it's on the brightest setting, if you want to use it to change a tire, you got a flat tire you don't want it that bright.

They're gonna blind your eyes You can push it once, there's a button on the side that'll change, that's not too bad as a lighting in there and I can go brighter and brighter, and then it go back down, and it has a strobe too, right yep, and that's a nice thing about this is it's got a strobe, you're gonna blind Lonnie here! But that's a half a click so you have to get comfortable with how to use your light, so you could practice with it The next thing is you have the lanyard on, it's in this position. Where do you keep your hands when you're walking with it? Here. You don't keep it down here because if someone's out in front of you You got to go from here to here. It's a lot of times.

If you come up on somebody I mean you can walk like this until you come up on somebody, right or if you're concerned, if you're an area you gotta use your sixth sense, if something doesn't seem right about that person or the area you're in this position you want to be able to protect yourself you want to have the light ready to go on and point The other thing is if someone strikes you, you can protect your head, Okay, the other thing is if you look at and I gotta go close with this Lonnie This makes this a tactical flashlight. There is edges on the front of this. You're probably too close Brad Good, okay, so you see these edges? Okay? There's five of them They're not razor sharp, but they're adequate and they're very strong The hand is like this you're ready to turn it on and it gives you a good position to strike And you're gonna strike to a boney surface particularly the face around the eyes or to the eyes You don't mess around and think oh I'm gonna strike someone In the chest or the arm in a muscular area cause it's not gonna hurt It's not gonna do anything it must strike to the eyes or to the that's all boney around here And that is gonna really cause some blood flow to come out, which is gonna get into the person's eyes Gives you a chance to get away between being blinded and painful When I taught my classes I enforced, this is an imminent danger you are in danger You have the right to protect yourself and all these tactics sound really nasty But that's what it takes, and you don't mess around. What I like about it Brad Is let's say someone's come upon you and you make somewhat of a mistake He really wasn't even attacking you just flash them.

I mean it's not like you maced them, right You know what I mean? Sure Exactly, so it's kind of a nice option in that regard that it doesn't, the other thing I do want to mention in the event that there is a problem and someone's there You're flashing them, and you're running, you're not being quiet You have to use your self-defense of being vocal People can hear if you're in a room or you're in a quiet area in an alley or whatever it could be There are people that can hear you in windows and whatnot and you're gonna Yell very loud and the word you're going to use to get people's attention is I can't say it here loud because we've got In this facility, is fire, when people hear the word fire They want to find out what's going on, if they just hear you're screaming or screaming help They don't know if they want to get involved, some people are not gonna want to get involved because they don't want to get hurt. They don't want to get involved You know that type of thing, but when they hear fire, they're like is that gonna affect me? So I'm gonna look out and then the more people that come out obviously the more the criminal is not gonna wanna be, and the criminal realizes that too and they don't want crowds, right exactly, they want to have their way with the situation, in the way they want it They wanna be alone, exactly so use the light, use your voice, and use the tactics we just talked about. Now we've got another video coming up in about a week or so and that's gonna tell you how to get in a parking lot or If you're in a house how there's a real simple technique to keep yourself safe, this helps as well And I call it the friendly wall technique, so learn about that coming up, nice very good. Thanks Brad This is a very valuable video.

Great, thank you, be safe. You.
