I know you guys can do it because you guys are the most amazing fam. We did it so quickly last week, like, wow! If we can do again this week that would be so cool! Without further ado, let's get straight to the video because there are so many exciting things to show you guys today. Let's go! What are you eating? (Smug) Chocolate sundae (hum of amusement) What are you eating now? Doritos? You can't have any (another hum of amusement) What are you eating this time?! Filet o fish? No wonder why you are always complaining that your hair is dry; you're like, not eating any vitamins
(Eat fruit or something) But it taste so goooooood People.. Just never learn I'll eat it-- I'll eat it tomorrow..

If you want your hair strong and shiny, sometimes the most important thing is actually your diet so make sure you're getting the nutrients and vitamins you need in your food and some vitamins that are super great for your hair are Vitamins A, C, D, E, B6, B9, B12, Biotin, lodine and Zinc before when you're travelling or have a really crazy schedule having a supplement can actually help fill any missing gaps. I prefer having mine in a gummy form because it's just so tasty and Sugar Bear Hair is simply formulated to ensure your hair health and growth. It's so tasty, cute, and also vegetarian friendly. You can get these off their website or Amazon and I've linked it down below.

I love these amazing hairstyles I see on Pinterest but I always feel like they are so difficult and time consuming, that I never thought I could do one. But here's a super easy, pull out braid for you guys that you can do in five minutes. And it looks so amazing you'd never guess how easy it was. And plus, you don't even need to know how to braid.

All you need are just some small, clear elastic bands and a clip. Now just take a small section of hair from the top of your head and tie it into a pony tail. Clip it up and take the remaining top section from around your temples. Pull it back And tie it just under your first pony tail.

Unclip the first pony tail. Split it in half and then flip your second one up and clip it. Next, add some more hair into the first pony tail And then tie it again just under your second pony tail. Do the same thing and unclip your previous sections.

Split it in half and then pull your new section up through the middle and clip. I like to call this process the 'Split-N- Clip'. Now, take the remaining hair and tie it into the pony tail and you should have no loose hair left at this point. Now, repeat the split and clip process all the way until you reach the end of your hair.

Also, at this point, you wanna note that the two sections that you've created should have a similar amount of hair in them. So, if you have one much thicker than the other, then your braids may look a little bit uneven. But you may like that. It's completely up to you.

Once you finished the split and clip, just tie the ends together with an elastic band. And we're gonna start pulling apart this braid to make it look fuller, thicker, and super amazing Simply start at the top section of the braid and pull it apart with your fingers. You wanna keep the middle intact to try and hide your elastic bands, but feel free to pull out the edges of the braid as much as you want. Then work your way all the way down until you are happy with it! You can make it messy, you can make it neat.

It's really up to you, and you can make it look however you like. You can leave the front of your hair as it is, but I like to pull out some bits to really soften up the look. And now you're done! I found this so straightforward to do And oh, my gosh, how pretty does this look? Sulfates are industrial-strength cleaning ingredients that you should avoid in your shampoo, especially if your hair is color treated. You'll literally be washing your two-hundred-dollar dye job down the drain.

Instead, try using SLS-free shampoo. It'll usually say on the bottle if it's sulfate-free, or otherwise, you can look in the ingredients to see if it does contain sulfates. These shampoos not only damage your hair less, but you'll help you keep your color in for longer. This is crazy! I'm actually ready on time for once! Just got to pin this flyaway and then, I'm ready to g...

What?! Where did it..? I was just holding it... Okay. Let's try this again. What's going on? Who's taking them?! (Voiceover) If you're like me, you'll feel like you lose your bobby pins all the time.

Even if I'm literally holding one, 1 second later, it'll be gone and I'll have no idea where it went. A great way to keep track of them is to use a tic-tac container, which is super cute and gives you an excuse to buy more tic tacs. Another thing you can do is to stick a magnetic strip on the side of an accessories holder or your dressing table or anywhere really like on the wall, on your mirror and the magnet will just hold them in place neatly until you're ready to use it and plus when you take them out at night, you have somewhere to put them as well instead of just throwing it on the table or on the bed, which is what I usually do. And my bobby pins have never looked so neat before in my whole entire life! Man...

She's so pretty, but I'm here looking like a potato. That's the hair I want! I want that -- that one. I want that. *Sigh* I'll never get curls like her, I don't even have a hair curler.

If you want some curls, but, you don't have a curling wand, you can actually use a metallic utensil to create the same effect. Just heat it up with your hair dryer and when it's hot, twist your hair around it. But be careful not to burn yourself because the metal does actually get quite hot. Just keep in mind; thinner handles will create crimps and the bigger, the rounder utensil, the bigger the curl.

I can't wait to meet all my friends we are going to have a picnic. Its so sunny:) I am going to do small braid actually. I think that looks super cute! Gonna tie it with a band and... Where? Umm...

Wait? No. No, that's not a-- what-- what I want. Talking: So if you don't have any small, clear, elastics for your braids, this next hack will be a lifesaver. Just braid your hair -- as per usual -- and at the end, stick a bobby pin vertically up through the middle of the braid, using the rounded end to wrap around the end of the braid to stop it from coming undone and to secure it in place.

You can hide the rest of the bobby pin in the braid as well so you don't see it. To hide the end of the bobby pin, all you need to do is get a bit of excess hair, twist it around the bits that you can see and then, kind of just wedge it through the bobby pin at the back then you're done! From a distance, your braids look magically tied together like nothing is holding it in place and it looks so super "tumblr-y!" Regrowth is my #1 worst enemy and literally the bane of my unicorn hair existence. A simple thing to do, is to part it in a zigzag. By doing this, your regrowth line won't be as obvious and it'll look like an ombre effect.

Lastly, you can try and hide your roots with a cute headband! Just put your headband over your roots, and you're done. Oh my gosh, I am so late. Why does this always happen to me?! Ok, I just dried my hair, do my makeup... Oh my god, what to do? I only got like, 10 minutes...

Think... You look like you could use some help there, huh???? Wengie: Can you, can you hold my hair dryer for me while I do my makeup? Imaginary friend: Uhh, what do you think I am? I am literally just your imaginary friend. Wengie: Oh. :( Imaginary friend: But I have an idea! *Snaps Fingers* Honestly, guys, I thought this was a little bit silly when I saw it, but this is actually awesome and it totally works.

Just pop your hair dryer into a drawer to hold it up or you can stick one of those hair drying... Holder rings on a wall somewhere, it might take a bit of time to find a good angle for the hair dryer, but this is something I can definitely see myself doing because I am always late. Or if you're not late and you're just lazy like me, you can use this hack to dry your hair while going on your phone. So, yeah, totally sign me up for this one! Don't you hate it when you're studying and you just want an easy way to clip your hair out from your face, but your clip just keeps slipping off? Sometimes, clips are just made of super slippery plastic material, just, that just won't grip to your hair.

But don't throw them away yet. You can easily improve the grip by getting a hot glue gun and gluing the inside of each tooth with a strip of hot glue. When it dries, it'll work like those clips you can buy from the store with the non-slip ends that are probably twice the price. So I just saved you home bodies some money and a trip to the drugstore.

So this is by far the easiest way to hack a messy bun, and it works for me every time. Just get a sock that you don't use anymore and cut off the toe section. And then roll it up until it looks like a band or a... A sock donut, maybe? I'm going to braid a piece of hair to one side because I want to show you guys how different a messy bun can look by just adding this one extra element, but you can totally skip this if you'd like.

Next, tie your hair up in a ponytail and you can do it high or low depending on where you want your bun to sit. Grab your sock donut and pull the ends of your hair through, split it around the sides, and then start rolling your hair around it all the way up the ponytail. Keep flipping it up and your hair will literally cover up your sock donut, and it'll end up looking like a perfect messy bun and you won't be able to know that there's actually a sock underneath. The amazing thing is that the elasticity of the sock actually does a really great job in holding the bun together without any hair ties, but you can use some bobby pins to tidy up any parts that are sticking out or secure it.

You want to neaten it up as well. But yeah, that's pretty much it. How cute is this? Look guys, I love how the braid just makes it look so elegant and by adding some flowers in this, you could totally even wear this to a wedding or a special occasion! And all in under five minutes! Oh my gosh you guys! How cool are some of these hair styles? I thought they were so complicated, but they ended up being so simple and if you guys wanted to do some of these, don't forget to share it with me on #wengiecorns 'Cuz I love talking with you guys during the week it just makes me super happy when it helps you guys. But yeah let's totally hang out during the week on my social media, so don't forget to follow me on Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram and my vlog channel.

But until then, I am gonna miss you guys so much and I'll see you guys next week, bye! Love you!.

4 Easy Steps to Control Hair FallThe Ultimate Hair Care Routine

4 Easy Steps

Hair fall is one of the most common hair concerns faced by Indian women owing to many factors such as stress, pollution and chemical treatments and the list never ends! Hi, Im Sneha Daftary, your hair expert and Ill help you get your hair fall under control to make your hair strong, healthy and beautiful again. A lot of us have a habit of simply coating layers and layers of oil without really massaging it well. This has some serious drawbacks. No Results Double the shampoo Dry hair And worst of all, HAIR FALL! Always remember, its your scalp that needs the oil not your dead ends.

Im using this Anti-Hair Fall Hair Oil from Himalaya thats enriched with Bhringaraj and Amla that help promote hair growth and strengthen your hair from root to tip. Start with a small amount of oil on a cotton pad and gently dab it into your scalp. Do the dabbing until youve covered your entire scalp and just briskly run your hands through your hair with a coin size amount. When your scalp is tight, the blood circulation is restricted and that pretty much explains the cause of slow hair growth.

Youve just got to get your scalp moving and loosen it up with the help of your finger tips, NOT fingernails! Starting from your temples, gently massage your scalp all the way to the back. Once youre done with a mini massage session, wrap a hot towel around your hair and leave it for 30 minutes to an hour, which is just enough time for any oil to work its magic. When choosing a shampoo for hair fall, go for milder and herbal products that are way more gentle on the scalp and ends. My current favourite shampoo is the Himalaya Anti Hair Fall Shampoo as it is specifically meant to deal with hair fall.

The trick to shampooing the right way, is to lather the product on your hands and then work it in your hair in a downward motion from scalp to ends. I shampoo my hair without using any water. Since water and oil do not get along at all, it does the same job with half the effort, product and water plus no over drying and no hair fall. You can go in for another round of normal shampooing if theres a need.

Post shampooing, Im just going to apply some of Himalayas Anti Hair Fall Conditioner to shut the hair cuticles. This is formulated with Bhringraja and Chickpea that nourishes the hair, helps prevent excess hair fall and leaves your hair soft, silky and smooth. Apply it from the mid-section of your hair to the tips, using your fingers. Make sure you stay away from the scalp while conditioning as you dont want excess product build up on a sensitive hair fall prone scalp.

Many people experience hair fall especially when their hair is wet! The trick to control this is by ending your routine with a good, healthy leave in cream. Leave in creams tackle frizz and add shine & texture. I use the Himalaya Anti Hair Fall Cream which contains Bhringraja and Amla that help promote hair growth. So, here's what you need to do: Post your hair wash, towel dry your hair.

Take a small amount of the cream depending on your hair length and run it through the lengths of your hair strands. It naturally dries up without making your hair look greasy. If you dont prefer oiling OR have colored hair, then you can skip that step altogether and massage your scalp with this cream instead, and leave it on for 30 minutes before washing it off. There you go! Your at-home haircare routine For Fabulous Hair.

Try this at least for the next 6 months if you want to see the best results. Apart from these external habits, also test out if there any hormonal issues that are leading to excess hair fall! Hope you found this video helpful and until next time, Stay Tuned, Stay Glamrs!.

Single BEST Self-Defense Product on the Street or at Home-Women or Men.

Single BEST Self-Defense
Hi folks I'm Bob Schrupp physical therapist, Brad Heineck physical therapist, together we are the most famous physical therapists on the internet, in our opinion of course Bob. Single best self-defense weapon on the street or home, we're gonna give you the number one option that you should do if you're trying to protect yourself Man or woman and This is something that when my daughter went to college I. Investigated cuz I wanted the best thing that she could have and this is it so we're gonna get into it But we're gonna talk about how this works, yeah, we're gonna get into the different options You know cuz there are other options besides the one we're gonna show today But we're gonna tell you why We still think this is the best one And I think it's very clear, but Bob before we go any further if you are new to our channel Please take a second to subscribe to us. We promise we won't hurt you.

We provide videos on how to stay healthy, fit, pain-free and safe, and we also upload every day There's a subscription button here or here Also go over to Facebook and like us because Brad and I as children were not liked and therefore We are trying to turn things around Alright so first Brad Why don't you give your background? So we these people know that you're qualified to talk about this subject. Right as you know we are physical therapists We have had this channel for years But on occasion a topic like this comes up in the news or something where I've had 17 years studying the martial arts and when I got to my second degree test, he's a second degree black belt, I emphasized my studies into self-defense, and I actually organized and taught professionals Classes for people, typically women actually it was all women and I did groups and I did free ones as well But for a number of years, I did that so in order to be effective I studied on this topic from the professionals from actually I got a lot of information from police officers One from Milwaukee where I got a lot of information from, which I'm going into in the next video and one from Chicago where they really get into a lot of this Oh, it's a big issue, right so I feel confident with this information I do want to mention your book too Brad, now this has nothing to do with self-defense. This is just more for stretching and preparing Staying injury-free. Well just read the title it's exactly what it is "Martial Arts Manual for Stretching, Strengthening, and Treatment of Common Injuries" so it's training, how to be a good marshal artist It's great for instructors.

Yeah, it's down below Go ahead and get it if you're into that field so okay, so what is the best self-defense? I'm gonna have to ask you Brad cuz I have no idea Well the first thing you know people'll say to take some martial arts, you know learn to defend yourself learn how to punch kick What are the like the most vulnerable sites - you're gonna strike? Well, those are all good things, but I can tell you from 17 years you're not going to learn it in a 10 minute video, it will take years of a lot of practice repetition repetition and then anybody, they'll tell you if you get in a conflict, chances are you're going to get hurt Yeah, so you want to avoid the conflict, so hand to hand especially if you're a smaller person or maybe a little more elderly There's so many factors, so the next thing other people are saying I'll get a nine-millimeter pistol well You know that's true. It's gonna be a good self-defense tool You know and in a lot of states in the United States They are legal you can conceal carry etc, but you really know how to handle them, You just don't learn how to use it and shoot it at the range once and learn, you have to go repeatedly at least once a month and feel very comfortable With that, well there are so many issues. I mean are you even comfortable in shooting somebody Do you want a gun around your house with children, I mean, the list goes on and on. So that one's probably not the best, the next one is mace or pepper spray And I'm thinking you know that's not a bad idea And that's what I had gotten for my daughters, some pepper spray The problem that could be with that is number one you have to be accurate with it And there's a certain distance that it's no longer accurate, if it's dark It's kind of hard to see where you're spraying So that brings us on to what what I got for my daughter after studying this and that is A simple tool like a flashlight, but it's not just any flashlight.

You need to get a tactical they're called a tactical flashlight In the military is where these originally started as my understanding, and they're very bright You need to have a lanyard on it, so if you drop it. You don't lose it That's gonna go on your wrist, got to be a good lanyard. Well, actually the name of this one is Brad, I'm gonna They have a whole bunch of them, there's a lot of them. This is the M1X Striker and we'll put a link down below so you can see it I don't remember how much it was to be honest with you.

Yeah. Yeah, I think they're between 50 and 70 dollars depending on where you get it It's not a cheap buy, but they're well-built, they're sealed, they got o ring seals, if you're in the water They're gonna hold up well to that atmosphere and they're all aluminum. They're built well that will just The button is on the back here You okay, Lonnie? Yeah I think I've got this set on the brightest setting, now these the distance you can be quite a ways away and if you get it in their eyes They're gonna see white lights now with this what I did is I took a pair of sunglasses And I shined it up against the wall, and I looked at it And it was too bright Okay, and just today I took my sunglasses on and I very quickly went on and off with it into my eyes It doesn't hurt painful, but it hurts your eyes And I kept seeing these white lights a couple minutes afterwards, so the idea is someone's coming up upon you And you flash them and probably stay flashing and he's gonna be blinded or she's gonna be blinded. You know if you cannot see, you're in a pretty good position to get out of there, okay, I wonder if it would blind a dog? No, seriously.

If a dog was coming at you Maybe it's a stupid thing to say, no it's not, but the one thing that's really critical First of all you have to know how to use it. It's got different settings And you want to set it so it's at the brightest So you have to be comfortable with it, and I'm gonna talk about how to hold it, and how to turn it on and whatnot But you need to be confident with it and confident in yourself Sure, so you know and I'm talking to people if you're raising children They're at that age where you want them to know how to defend themselves, you have to teach them That nobody has the right to touch them Which, everyone doesn't know that, particularly people in power, you know a teacher, You know a politician, a priest. Yeah, you have to know that nobody has the right to touch you and you have the right, under any circumstance You have the right to stop it with as much force is necessary to stop it. Okay.

That's really critical to teach that to your children I think the other thing Brad which we mentioned in another video about not getting groped is about posture and that if you're walking along like you know like this mozzie wowsy the world hates me That's what I I saw. I was reading one article where a criminal was saying We call that the Vic walk, victim walk and we know that's someone we're gonna target, right easy prey You want to have confidence and walk Like you know where you're going, you have to have you have your head up, be aware You're not just looking at one spot or looking at the tall buildings if you're in the big city But you're looking around, you're aware of your surroundings and you look like you know where you're going and you do, because you don't want to look like a tourist which is also somebody's that's gonna be a victim, the other thing about confidence with your children This is one of the things I did with my daughter. Lonnie you got to focus on this, this is kind of cool I got her for this for Christmas, which wasn't a big deal for Christmas present in her mind But can you can see a little kitty looking into the mirror and in the mirror There's actually a tiger, so what does it say? What matters most is how you see yourself So every day, this is right at her mirror where she combed her hair, it was there for Seven years so every day she looked at this whether or not she knew she was reading it or not You know if you look at the psychology Hopefully that's a little message, and I think when she played basketball on defense She was pretty aggressive, so I don't know if that was coming out but in a self defense situation This has to instinctively come in, that you're confident yourself. You know if you got a fly shot You can put it in someone's eyes and take care of business Brad the other point, are you gonna point out these sharp edges? Yeah, exactly, there's more to the light than just a light right, so now We're gonna get into you have confidence.

You have to know how to use it Walking like you know where you're going, posture How you present yourself, being aware and then with this you have it like this now my daughter when she has hers she has it in her backpack and She keeps it in her bag when she's with the group. If she's by herself she pulls it out She puts it on her wrist, and then you hold it like this You don't want to advertise that you've got a tactical flashlight, you hold it like this It's out of the way. It's ready to be used. There is a thumb button here, okay, and now this one I don't want to go through the details because each light's a little bit different but on this one I push it on once and it's on the brightest setting, if you want to use it to change a tire, you got a flat tire you don't want it that bright.

They're gonna blind your eyes You can push it once, there's a button on the side that'll change, that's not too bad as a lighting in there and I can go brighter and brighter, and then it go back down, and it has a strobe too, right yep, and that's a nice thing about this is it's got a strobe, you're gonna blind Lonnie here! But that's a half a click so you have to get comfortable with how to use your light, so you could practice with it The next thing is you have the lanyard on, it's in this position. Where do you keep your hands when you're walking with it? Here. You don't keep it down here because if someone's out in front of you You got to go from here to here. It's a lot of times.

If you come up on somebody I mean you can walk like this until you come up on somebody, right or if you're concerned, if you're an area you gotta use your sixth sense, if something doesn't seem right about that person or the area you're in this position you want to be able to protect yourself you want to have the light ready to go on and point The other thing is if someone strikes you, you can protect your head, Okay, the other thing is if you look at and I gotta go close with this Lonnie This makes this a tactical flashlight. There is edges on the front of this. You're probably too close Brad Good, okay, so you see these edges? Okay? There's five of them They're not razor sharp, but they're adequate and they're very strong The hand is like this you're ready to turn it on and it gives you a good position to strike And you're gonna strike to a boney surface particularly the face around the eyes or to the eyes You don't mess around and think oh I'm gonna strike someone In the chest or the arm in a muscular area cause it's not gonna hurt It's not gonna do anything it must strike to the eyes or to the that's all boney around here And that is gonna really cause some blood flow to come out, which is gonna get into the person's eyes Gives you a chance to get away between being blinded and painful When I taught my classes I enforced, this is an imminent danger you are in danger You have the right to protect yourself and all these tactics sound really nasty But that's what it takes, and you don't mess around. What I like about it Brad Is let's say someone's come upon you and you make somewhat of a mistake He really wasn't even attacking you just flash them.

I mean it's not like you maced them, right You know what I mean? Sure Exactly, so it's kind of a nice option in that regard that it doesn't, the other thing I do want to mention in the event that there is a problem and someone's there You're flashing them, and you're running, you're not being quiet You have to use your self-defense of being vocal People can hear if you're in a room or you're in a quiet area in an alley or whatever it could be There are people that can hear you in windows and whatnot and you're gonna Yell very loud and the word you're going to use to get people's attention is I can't say it here loud because we've got In this facility, is fire, when people hear the word fire They want to find out what's going on, if they just hear you're screaming or screaming help They don't know if they want to get involved, some people are not gonna want to get involved because they don't want to get hurt. They don't want to get involved You know that type of thing, but when they hear fire, they're like is that gonna affect me? So I'm gonna look out and then the more people that come out obviously the more the criminal is not gonna wanna be, and the criminal realizes that too and they don't want crowds, right exactly, they want to have their way with the situation, in the way they want it They wanna be alone, exactly so use the light, use your voice, and use the tactics we just talked about. Now we've got another video coming up in about a week or so and that's gonna tell you how to get in a parking lot or If you're in a house how there's a real simple technique to keep yourself safe, this helps as well And I call it the friendly wall technique, so learn about that coming up, nice very good. Thanks Brad This is a very valuable video.

Great, thank you, be safe. You.

SAVE vs. SPLURGE SKIN & HAIR CARE EDITIONBeauty EssentialsJASMINA BHARWANI
Hello everyone and welcome to my channel
thank you so much for tuning in today I. Have for you another save versus splurge
video you guys really seem to enjoy the first one I did I did one that was all
kind of make up I will link that on the screen now if you haven't watched it and
I know you guys requested for me to do one on skincare and on fashion the
fashion one is coming up soon but this one is this skincare version I've also
included in here body care and hair care just to kind of Club it all in one
section and I'm going to go through all the categories like I did in in the last
one and I'm going to tell you whether I. Think it's worth spending or saving and
what my favorite products are whatever the category is so without further ado
let's get straight into this video because there's a lot to get through but
before that don't forget to hit the subscribe button I upload twice a week
and I would love to have you back on the channel and also don't forget to hit the
little bell right next to the subscribe button so that you get a notification
every time I upload a new video ok so we're gonna start everything off
with a cleanser I'm gonna try and go in like this steps I would use a things and
the first one like I said is cleanser and I have here my favorite cleanser
which I've been using for a long time and it's the LA roche-posay tellurian
cleanser so I definitely think this is a safe product I think that's very good
kind of I was a premium sort of drugstore rangers like the rush today
and like a van which have got very very good quality skincare and actually you
could probably get away with getting everything from that range and I think
you can get really good quality stuff but it's not kind of super excessively
priced it's very good quality good for sensitive skin very respectful with like
skin and just good ingredients in there so I think it's definitely a product you
can save on I know there's some amazing kind of Sarah Chapman type cleanses
cleansing bombs that are amazing but I. Have to say this one for me works
wonders I use it all over to clean my face I use it even on eyes and
all over my face I featured this on my skincare routine which I will link on
the screen now if you haven't watched it but basically I think it's great it gets
rid of my makeup it comes on really easily it doesn't irritate my skin it
does make it oily it doesn't make me break out and you get pretty good amount
of product this is the demo cleanser and like I said you can use it on your eyes
as well and I work quite a lot of my makeup as you guys probably can see and
it gets rid of it really well you just kind of need to massage it in and then
you just kind of drag it out with a cotton bud and it just comes off really
really easily so I think this one's a great product and definitely want you
can save on moving on to the next one which is also a cleanser is this gel
cleanser and I think this one is again a safe product because this one is also
from the wash pers a like I said I think a lot of products from the wash but they
are really really good and the ones from a van are kind of this kind of this very
similar range there's sort of a little bit of premium drugstore but it's still
a drugstore product so I would still consider it a safe product this one is a
gel mousse cleanser and it doesn't have any soap it's really good for sensitive
skin especially for weally skin I used to break up so much and so ever since I
started using this it's definitely made a huge difference and it's made a huge
difference to my blackheads I mean the difference is stunning I mean I've
gotten rid of most of them I still have a little bit but I think it's a very
very good product really good on the skin and you get a whole lot for the
price moving now on to toner I don't use all that much toner but I think this one
is again definitely a safe product I.

Think you get some really good ones in
the market in the drugstore this one is the visibly clear blackhead eliminating
toner which I use occasion I don't use it every night and then I have one
that's like a caramel water and that's the Spanish brand but I think that again
would be a kind of similar equivalent to the drugstore this one's my Neutrogena I
think need to you know do some really good ones you can also get some by
L'Oreal which are really good revlon do some really good ones as well and
definitely i think it's a safe product i don't think there's a need to spend a
whole lot of money on a toner you basically all you wanted to do is just
kind of close your pores i would say go for like a good skincare brand though
like don't go for anything like you know that could be a dupe or a fake because
you're going to be applying it on your skin but something that is from a good
and you could definitely get away with something from the drugstore moving now
on to kind of creams and treatments and stuff like that my first product is a
serum and you can obviously use serums for different you know things though
issues that you have with your skin I'm going to talk about the ones that I've
used but I think this one is definitely a spend product I think treatment
products that are supposed to do something really specific to your skin I
would say are worth investing a little bit more money on them just because
sometimes the ones that are kind of high-end can deliver more can have
better results and I think because it's stuff that you're gonna be using you
know it's gonna be one item and it's something so specific for a specific
need I think it's worth spending a little bit extra money my recommendation
if you have a puffy kind of face type like mine which kind of retains a lot of
liquid is this Clarins one it's obviously worked a dream on my face it's
basically meant to kind of drain all the liquid retention that you have on your
face and it works so well and I think a drugstore product wouldn't have the same
effect I've also used the advanced night repair serum by Estee Lauder and I have
to say it's worked so well on my skin it's a great kind of hydrating serum
that really brings a lot of glow to your face and like I said because it's a
specific treatment that it's kind of for glow or for blemishes or for whatever it
is that you're using it I think it's definitely worth a little bit of extra
money so for me this would be a spent product staying on the topical kind of
treatment products I'm moving now more into kind of oils and creams and again
for me this is a splurge product I have the Clarins face oil for example which I
use as a nighttime moisturizer and I use this because I have really dehydrated
skin especially around here but then I. Have like a lot of blemishes down the
center of my face and I have to say this product has made a huge difference I
tried loads of products from the drugstore and nothing really worked on
my skin but this oil honestly works wonders so I think this one is
definitely a splurge product like I say this oil there can be other kind of
treatment creams that you use whether you're using something that's for your
wrinkles or whether you're using something because you want to have less
oil on your face whatever it is the treatment product you're using as a
moisturizer as a nighttime product that you really want to work on your skin
especially the night one because you wanted to work on your
skin all night I would say definitely worth spending because it's gonna be on
your face all night you want something that's gonna really work on whatever it
is that your problem is and I think it's definitely worth the extra money
moving now on to spot treatments is something you would use for something
really specific that it's not like an overall kind of moisturizer or serum or
anything something then you would use either for blemishes or whether you've
got kind of pigmentation on your skin using something as a spot treatment I
would say again these ones are definitely worth splashing on I for
example have a lot of problem with breakouts like I said and I use at this
product from Dermalogica which is the overnight clearing gel this is meant to
be to kind of apply it directly onto your spots and it kind of dries them up
I have to say this one works wonders if you have acne prone skin it's made such
a huge difference to my skin and I have tried at the one from the ordinary the
salicylic acid and that's a much more affordable option and I have to say it
was good but nothing like this one I. Think Dermalogica is like a mid-range
brand it's also not kind of super premium like a Christian Dior but at the
same time it's a really really good quality product and you are paying for
the kind of time and effort these brands put into kind of coming up with these
treatments so again because it's something very specific I would say it's
worth the extra money moving now on to a daytime moisturizer
and I think this one is kind of a product I'm on the fence about I have to
say you can get really good products in the drugstore and because this is just
gonna be something you're gonna be applying during the day it's not kind of
gonna do so much your skin it's not such a specific treatment you're gonna have
it on are you gonna put makeup and stuff on top I would say as long as you're
using something that is good for your skin time you can definitely save but I
also think that some of the high-end ones like the Armani primer one or the
Charlotte Tilbury magic cream do work really well on your face and I have
noticed a difference compared to the drugstores so for me I'm on the fence
about this one I would say if you want an effect that's absolutely amazing then
I would definitely splurge but if you don't mind so much or you have kind of a
skin that's kind of naturally just hydrated and wonderful on its own and it
doesn't need much treatment and you can definitely save but I'm siding more
towards the splurge category than the SAV category because again it's a
product you're applying to onto your skin you're gonna have it on
for a long time makeup is gonna sit on top of it and like using the same kind
of theory I had with makeup anything that affects the blend ability or the
way you'll make up sets on your skin is important for it to be good quality so I
would say probably splurge although yeah maybe you can save if
you're very very young and you've got kind of perfect skin anyways the makeup
wipes I would say definitely a safe category for me I use these ones from
Johnsons they're the baby wipes and I. Just use these to kind of double cleanse
my face but you can obviously use cleansing wipes I think the Johnson's
ones are really good the Neutrogena ones are also really good so you can
definitely get really good products from the drugstore that are not too
aggressive that are good with your skin and that actually remove your makeup I
would also say though that I wouldn't recommend cleansing works as the only
method of cleansing your face if you're wearing makeup I would say it's good for
a double cleanse or it's good to kind of clean around the areas of your face
where you can't get to with the cleanser but I would say it's not great to be
just cleaning your face with this moving now on to mask treatments I would say on
this one again I would sign more towards the splurge category but I think there
are also some really good ones in the drugstore so I'm in between I'm sorry
I'm not being that clear with this video but I think the skincare it's not as
clear-cut for me as it is with makeup there are some really great options like
the ones from a spa they are kind of again a little bit of like a little
premium skincare within the drugstore and I think their masks are absolutely
wonderful I've tried their vitamin C one it's
really good I've tried this one which is their anti-wrinkle Mars I've tried their
eye patches and they're honestly all amazing it's a Korean skincare brand and
I have to say their masks work so so well and I don't really notice that much
difference compared to like high-end ones however also from the drugstore a
really good option as this one for example from Sephora which is the bubble
mask detoxifying and they also have one that's called like the plumping mask I
will be putting all these products on the screen and linking them down below
and those honestly work so so well on my skin I honestly noticed such a huge
difference when I use them they're literally like instant effect products
this one which is the oxygenating mask literally makes the skin glow like my
skin can go quite dull and this one just brings a wonderful glow
into my face literally instantly as soon as I use it and the plumping mask it's
an overnight rating mask and it honestly hydrates my skin so much it leaves its
super plump and it actually has a lot of hyaluronic acid so it literally feels
like my skin is kind of lifted as if I.

Had like literally fillers put in so I
do think there are some great products in the drugstore however I also think
there are some great products from like more premium brands like Dermalogica
I've been using this gentle cream exfoliant for years and I haven't found
an exfoliant that is as good as this one this one is so amazing to kind of leave
your skin super smooth I use this always before applying any other masks on top
it's a chemical exfoliant you leave it on for about 15 minutes and then just
literally wash it off your face and I. Have to say it leaves your skin are so
good it helps to kind of keep like key blackheads and blemishes a bay and it's
such a good mask actually it's just so good and I think it's worth a little bit
of extra money so I would say um like I. Said I've got heading more towards
splurge but if you're gonna go and say there are some great products but I
would say choose the kind of premium ranges from the drugstore as opposed to
kind of the really kind of basic ranges too are the masks but I wanted to
mention as well they're worth splurging on is the satin acne mask this one again
it's a very specific treatment for people who are acne prone I think this
one works so so well and I haven't found anything similar in the drugstore and
also the Charlotte Tilbury skin clay goddess mask which is amazing it just it
hydrates and it clears your skin at the same time it's nothing like any other
clay mask I've tried before I know Lauri I have come up with like a huge range of
clay masks and they're good but there's nothing like this one this one honestly
is so special because it doesn't dehydrate your skin but at the same time
it kind of clears out your pores and it's just such a specific kind of
combination that I haven't been able to find elsewhere that I think it's worth
the extra money moving now on to body care I think the
kind of body soap definitely I would say is a safe product I have used these ones
from the sanctuary and actually I think the sanctuary is such an underrated
brand they have some really really good stuff and I think of their body soap is
so so good and they have some really good scrubs as well this one is the
white lily and damask rose and it smells so wonderful the packaging is so
beautiful it looks so nice on the bathtub and yeah they're really good
really moisturizing and they don't kind of dry out your skin or anything it
leaves them looking really beautiful really moisturize and at the same time
it smells for so so nice so I think I'm not too fussy to be honest with like
soaps and stuff like that as long as it doesn't dehydrate my skin I think
there's some really good options and some really affordable options on the
drugstore moving on to body scrubs and I think
this one again is a safe category I love this one from the body shop this one is
again a little bit like premium drugstore but I wouldn't call this
high-end it's the spot of the world mediterranean
sea salt scrub and it's the most amazing scrub i've tried ever it is so
nourishing but at the same time it really exfoliates your skin it feels so
lovely it's quite thick so it's really easy to kind of massage in the sanctuary
also do some really really good ones so I definitely think they're worth like
saving money on I have tried to save from flurry ones and I have to say I
didn't like those at all but I think sanctuary and the body shop do some
really really good ones and the smell is incredible they're good they exfoliate
your skin and again it's nothing stay specific so as long as it kind of
doesn't do hydrate your skin and it does the job I don't think you need to kind
of spend at loads and loads of money on it
moving on to body moisturiser and I. Think this one again is a safe product I
think the dark range is amazing like their body soaps they're also really
really good I forgot to mention them earlier this one is the one I use which
is the summer revive dermis spa one which is meant to be like a turning one
to be honest it's sort of a buildable tan but I don't mean you know just a lot
of difference on my skin but I have to say it does really really hydrate my
skin and it sinks them super quickly it absorbs super nicely it smells really
good it doesn't look kind of streaky or anything even though it's supposed to be
a tanning cream and yeah it just leaves my skin really really nourished and
really hydrated and I don't feel the need to spend on a more expensive one
because I don't really see the difference on my body moving on to hair
care I think this one is definitely a bit more of a spend category on the
whole I find that you don't have to go and you've spend crazy amounts of money
on it like you don't have to buy stuff from to go but I also feel that if you
buy a kind of complete drugstore stuff it does make a difference
and because my hair is colored and I.

Feel like it needs that extra kind of
bit of TLC so for shampoo I would definitely say spend I love this joy
coat for example shampoo and I also have a specific condition on my scalp which
makes it really flaky so I use a deep cleansing shampoo which is like
antibacterial shampoo as well and again it's like a pharmacy product so it is a
little bit more pricey but I think it's worth spending on a really good shampoo
because you know your hair especially if you color it your mistreating it a lot
and it does need that extra little bit of care and I find that the drugstore
just doesn't do enough for hair treatment perhaps I would say again a
spend category for me this product for example just for split ends is from
Schwarzkopf it's not super expensive but it is a little bit more pricey than the
drugstore but I have to say it's made such a huge difference on my hair it
does really nourish it and it leaves it so so supple and I have noticed a huge
difference in terms of the amounts of split ends I have another treatment
product is olaplex which is amazing on your hair and it does really really make
a difference especially if you have a colored hair it's a rebonding treatment
and i have to say it's worth the extra little bit of money and when it comes to
how masks I love this one file living proof it's a restore hair mask and it's
great for colored hair it really kind of nourishes your hair without weighing it
down and I have to say the Kerastase ones are
also amazing and they are a little bit more expensive but definitely worth the
money because like I said it's a very specific treatment product it's the same
as with your facial skin care something that's so specific for something that's
kind of a particular need I think spending a little bit of extra money is
worth it because it's worth paying for that extra research that that brand is
done and you know that's what you're paying for really so that's over from
you guys thank you so much for watching I hope you enjoyed this video please do
let me know in the comments below what you thought was worth splurging on all
saving on and do let me know if there's any recommendations out there cuz I love
to hear from you guys thank you so much for watching and I will see you in my
next one bye guys.

Ribbond compared to other dental fiber reinforcement materials

Ribbond compared to
Since its introduction in 1992, Ribbond's
success and acceptance by thousands of dental professionals worldwide has made it the industry
standard for dental fiber reinforcement. Ribbond remains the preferred fiber reinforcement
of independent dental evaluators. Ribbond is the top choice of Reality evaluators, Clinical
Research Associates and also consistently receives the Dentaltown, "Townie Choice" award
as well. Reality evaluators list Ribbond as their preferred
reinforcement fiber and reference Ribbonds proven and documented history of success stating,
Ribbond has the most research and the longest track record in this category.

Its performance
has been very good. Clinical Research Associates states a clear
preference for Ribbond stating that, the importance of ease of use far outweighs cost,
and Ribbond reinforcement fiber has best ease of use. The most obvious difference between Ribbond
and other fiber reinforcements is its superior manageability. Ribbond is woven using a patented leno weave,
which uniquely allows Ribbond to be both open for easy wetting but also prevents Ribbond
from unraveling during placement.

You can see how Ribbond has no memory and
will not rebound when bent. Ribbonds superior manageability can easily
be seen when making a periodontal splint. Here you can see how Ribbond stays in position
and does not rebound out of the contacts and easily follows the arch and contours of the
teeth. You can also see how this differs from other
fiber materials.

Loosely braided materials, like Kerrs Connect,
unravel during use. When making a periodontal splint with the
loosely braided Connect fibers you can see how the material spreads apart, doubling in
width and resulting in an unnecessarily bulky and uncomfortable prosthesis for your patient. Glass fibers are stiff and have a lot of memory. It is difficult to construct a periodontal
splint using glass fibers you can see how the fibers rebound when trying to adapt them
into the contacts, and they do not stay in position.

This presentation clearly shows that Ribbond
has the best ease of use, but dont take our word for it, make your own comparison.
Please call or email us and we can send a manageability sample for your evaluation.
Please note that these samples will not be not clinically useable as they will not be
cold-gas plasma treated and will not bond to dental resins. If the other manufacturers
would send a similar sample the difference will be readily apparent. Manageability not only effects the clinician's
ease of use and patient's comfort, but perhaps more importantly, manageability directly relates
to long-term clinical success. Like a porcelain veneer or an orthodontic bracket, the thinner
the bond line is the better the laminate effect will be.

In the case of fiber reinforcements, strength
is achieved via design, layering the fibers against the teeth makes a laminate structure.
The closer the fibers are placed against the tooth surfaces, the thinner the bond line
will be and therefore better the laminate effect will be. When a carpenter glues two pieces of wood
together, he uses a clamp to minimize the thickness of the glue between the two pieces
of wood. Minimizing the thickness of glue reduces the chance of cohesive failure of
the layer of glue. This same phenomenon explains why we want thin bond lines in dentistry.

The same ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene
Spectra fibers used to make Ribbond are also used to make bullet proof vests and light
weight armor protection for military aircraft. Glass fibers are not used for similar industrial
applications because they are brittle and are not fracture tough. Unlike glass fibers, the strength qualities
of the bullet proof Ribbond fibers are not compromised when bent. Glass fiber reinforcements
behave in a way similar to a pane of glass.

Glass is vulnerable to weakening due to stress
concentrations. When cutting a pane of glass, for example, the glass is cut by first scoring
its surface. The glass then easily breaks at this scratch. The bending of the the glass fibers during
the manufacturing process for woven glass fiber reinforcements creates stress concentrations
in the glass fibers.

Under magnification you can see that some of the fibers are actually
broken during this manufacturing process. Because weaving glass fibers compromises its
strength qualities, some manufacturers have chosen to use unidirectional configurations.
These configurations are effective in reinforcing forces that are parallel to the direction
of the fibers, but they are not effective in reinforcing multidirectional forces. This
phenomenon can be illustrated with mono-filament strapping tape. Like a unidirectional fiber
reinforcement, the mono filament strapping tape offers resistance when forces are applied
parallel to the direction of the fibers, but you can see how it easily tears when the forces
are applied in a direction perpendicular to the fibers.

Multidirectional forces are the norm in dentistry
and not the exception. Ribbonds lock-stitch leno weave offers multidirectional reinforcement.
In effect, each nodal intersection in the weave acts as a tiny knot that prevents crack
propagation within the resin matrix between the threads. Loosely woven or braided fibers also lack
mechanical interlocking of one thread to the next and like the unidirectional materials
will be susceptible to crack propagation within the resin matrix. Some marketers have tried to use simple in
vitro flexural strength tests to suggest clinical success, but these tests are meaningless without
an understanding of how strength qualities relate to clinical performance.

What we call
strength is really a combination of many qualities such as tensile strength, flexural strength,
flexural modulus and fracture toughness. A. Material might be very strong in one characteristic
but could be very weak in another. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link
and when trying to evaluate the strength of a material it is probably more relevant to
test for the weakest characteristic rather than its strongest feature.

For example, a unidirectional fiber material
has a high flexural strength in regard to forces that are applied parallel to the direction
of the fibers. However, the mode of failure is more likely to be due to multidirectional
forces that are applied perpendicular to the direction of the fibers. In other words, maybe
a strength test that applies a load perpendicular to the direction of the unidirectional fibers
might be more relevant for trying to evaluate clinical success. Flexural strength and flexural modulus are
measures of stiffness, and it is true that glass fibers are stiffer than polyethylene
fibers.

However, any first year student in structural engineering will tell you that
it is easier to design a structure for stiffness using non-stiff materials than it is to design
a structure for fracture toughness using non-fracture tough materials. Stiffness is achieved via
design by the fibers being placed to make a laminate structure. Ribbonds superior
manageability allows for the most accurate placement of any fiber reinforcement. Accurate
and close placement against the surfaces of the teeth minimizes the bond line and maximizes
the laminate effect.

In the case of fiber reinforcements the two
most relevant questions would probably be; how fracture tough is the material and how
manageable is it? We would argue that Ribbond is both the most fracture tough material available
to dentistry and that its ease of use allows for the most effective laminate designs. There is no better test than the test of time
and Ribbond leads the field in its independently documented history of success. Such research
includes an independent 42 to 84-month recall study of Ribbond periodontal splints by Dr.
Howard Strassler at the Univ. Of Maryland, which showed zero fracture failures in the
eleven patients that were followed during the study.

We know of no equivalent independent
recall studies by other manufacturers. Ribbonds fibers are the standard in biocompatibility.
The same polyethylene material used to make Ribbond is used in solid form to make liners
for artificial hip and knee joints. Glass fibers are generally not considered biocompatible
in industry, which is why workers use respirators when installing fiberglass insulation. Some marketers of glass fiber reinforcements
state that you can polish glass fibers and that Ribbond cannot be polished.

This is partially
true. Since Ribbonds fibers are so tough, they cannot be cut to the same level as the
composite with a burr and will therefore feel - fuzzy - if polished. Being brittle, the glass fibers can be cut
with a burr to the same level as the resin and will initially feel smooth. However, as
the resin wears away, over time the glass fibers will not wear at the same rate.

This
will result in sharp protruding fibers that will cause irritation to the soft tissue.
Thus, in the long term, neither glass fibers or polyethylene fibers should be polished. Ribbond has an indefinite shelf life. This
minimizes waste since there is no expiration date and the Ribbond does not need to be refrigerated
for storage. Ribbond leads the field in fiber reinforcements
in both innovation and quality.

be happy to assist you..
