Salon Name Ideas - 6 Tips on how to choose a name for your salon

Salon Name Ideas - 6 Tips on how to choose a name for your salon
Hey it's Dustin from dustinnccorchuk.Com and in this video I'm going to give you six tips on how to choose the perfect name for your salon to stick with me. I'm sure driving across town you've seen many different salon names in the last several years so are classy and some of them are just downright awful and I want to help you pick one that'll be great for your salon. Choosing the right name for your salon is really important because it's the foundation of your salon branding and your branding is really important to get new clients. So let's get into the six tips for picking the right name for your salon.

Tip number one, like Stephen Covey says begin with the end in mind. Envision your salon five years from now. What are you going to look like? Where are you going to be located? How many employees are you going to have? What product line are you going to be using? Then get out a pad of paper and write down one word adjective that will describe your salon as you see it in five years. These adjectives will help guide you choosing the right name for your salon.

Tip number two pick up salon name is gonna stand out your city. Write down a list of all the current salon names that are in your city and see if anything stands out. Is there anything that similar within those salon? Oftentimes cities will take on their own culture and salon names will kind of fit that culture. If all the salon names in your city are named after street maybe you want something that's a little more creative.

It's important to be slightly different than the rest of the salons in your city so that you stand out and that you're memorable in people's mind. Step number three consider your target audience. If your salon is all about serving 20 and 30 year-old female and doing their color then probably you want something to be a little more creative. If you are serving older women you're doing a lot of perms then make it a little bit more conservative.

Either way consider your target audience and think about what is a salon name that's going to draw them to your salon. What's going to peak their interest and what's going to get them interested in calling you up and scheduling an appointment. Knowing your target audience is extremely important because it's going to dictate everything about your salon. Your salon prices.

The furniture. The colors you choose. The environment that you create your salon culture and your salon name. When all of those things are congruent because you have established who your target clientele is you're going to find that target clientele being drawn to you and your salon is going to grow faster and your books are going to be full.

Tip number 4 survey a one-mile radius around your salon location. This might sound a little strange and a little bit outside your comfort zone but trust me at works. Take a weekend with a clipboard and a pen and go door-to-door around your neighborhood and just ask people hey my name is Dustin and I'm opening up a salon right over there and I'm wondering if you had to choose a salon strictly based on the name which of these three choices would you choose? Make a tally of what your neighborhood says and you'll be surprised. There will probably be one that rises to the top and that's probably the best choice for your new salon name.

Tip number five if you are having a really difficult time narrowing down your salon name you can never lose with men names. There are many different salons and salon products that are named after men so it already fits within the culture. In addition naming the salon after yourself really creates a personal brand where you are the center of that brand and typically people connect with a person more than they do with a concept or an institution. Obviously you won't have any problem being unique in your city because you're the only one with that name and it also sets you apart as the hair professional.

Hey, you have a salon named after you. Finally number six and probably most important to me as somebody that likes helping salon professionals with their digital marketing is checking for domain availability. You want to go to a site like namecheap and type in the name chosen for your salon and see if there's a dot-com URL available. Having a strong and memorable domain name that matches your salon name is really important because it's going to be on your business cards all of your print material any advertising materials, so you want something that's going to be able to be memorable in somebody's mind so that they can find you on the internet.

Once you've created your salon website you're going to want it to rank at the top of Google search. Both your website and your Maps listening and possibly a YouTube video so that all three of those things can be on the first page of Google and so you'll get more clients organically when they're searching for a salon in your city. I've created an online course specifically for salon professionals like you to teach you how to create a wordpress website from scratch and then rank your website number one in local google search. Also in this training program is an entire module teaching you have to rank your Google my business page that's number one in the map section so that people find you right away at the top in the local 3-pack.

And then finally I also teach you how to create and rank a promotional video that you can put on youtube and also rank that on the first page of Google search. I love helping new salon professionals create a website google+ listing and a YouTube video and ranking all three of those in organic google search so they can get more clients every day. I've done this in my salon and i can tell you from personal experience that we don't pay any money in advertising and we're getting new clients all the time to the point where we actually need to hire any stylist all the time as well. If you're interested in that online training program all you have to do is click the link right below this video in the description and i'll take you to a landing page where you can find out more.

As always if you have any questions go ahead and put those in the comment section below and if this video has been helpful for you in choosing your salon name then please give me a thumbs up. Thanks so much for watching and make today extraordinary!.

Salon Marketing - What Every Salon Needs To Know About Attracting Clients

Salon Marketing -
Hi my name is Dustin with Salon Marketing
Blueprint and I strategize with salon and spa owners and independent stylists all over
the country to get new clients and grow their business. Today in this video, I'm going to
teach you the 3 best ways to keep your phone ringing getting new clients every single day,
so stick with me. I love helping salon owners properly position
themselves to get new clients and grow their business every single day. Unless you live
in a really small town, chances are you're not the only salon in town.

Which mean everybody
has the opportunity to choose which salon they go to. Are you their first choice? So
how do you stand out from your competition and become the first choice for your potential
clients when they are looking for a new hair stylist. This is not something they teach
you in beauty school. It's a little something I like to call Local Google Search Domination.
You see, if somebody is looking for a new hair stylist, they're no going to go to the
Yellow Pages, they're going to go to Google.

They are going to search 'hair salon' in your
city. And if you're dominating the first page of local Google search, you're going to get
more clicks. The salon with the most clicks, is going to get the most phone calls, and
turn those clicks into lifelong clients. So how do you do this? It's as easy as 1, 2,
3.

Number one, your website. You need a professional looking website so it can be attractive to
new visitors. Not only that, but it needs to be ranked on the first page of Google.
Some of you might be wondering, why am I not getting any new clients? Maybe it's because
your website isn't optimized and nobody can find it. Number 2 is your local business directories.
These are high ranking websites like Google+, Yelp, YellowPages.Com which are going to help
your Google+ listing rank right there on the first page in the maps section of Google.
The name of the game for directory profiles is Quality, Quantity and Consistency.

Quality:
you want to be on the highest ranking ones like Yelp, Yellow Pages, Google+, the ones
I listed earlier; the ones that everybody uses. You also want to be on niche specific
directories like findabeautysalon.Com and other salon directories that are out there
that you can subscribe to for free. The next one is quantity; you want to be on as many
as possible. There is literally hundreds of directories that you can be on for free.

And
you just put your name, address, phone number, upload some pictures, and those point a link
back to your website which is going to help your website rank higher. And then finally,
consistency. You want everything to match. Your name, your address, phone number, website.
If there is any inconsistencies, Google is going to be like, 'what is going on with your
business' and they are not going to rank you very high because they are confused as to
where you are located or what your business name is because it is inconsistent.

So if
you have lots of them, on the high quality, niche specific sites and they all match, its
going to really boost your Google+ listing in the maps section and now you are taking
up two positions on the first page of Google. Finally, number 3, I've saved my favorite
for the last. If you're looking to dominate local Google search, you need a professional
video that ranks on the first page of Google. This is where I am spending most of my time
with my clients because it is just so effective.

When it comes to business, trust is a huge
factor. And what better way to build trust on the internet than a professional video
that shows who you are, and what you do. Let's be honest, finding a new hair stylist is a
scary thing for most people. And so what better way to take out the mystery, than to have
a professional video where they can see your face, where they can hear your voice? They
can see pictures of the salon, and it really takes the mystery out of finding a new stylist.
It really builds credibility, it builds trust, and people are more likely to give you a phone
call and come in to your salon because they have seen what your salon is like.

But it
is not enough just to produce a promotional video because after you post it to your Facebook
page that one time, nobody is going to find it. You need to get your video ranked on the
first page of Google because when somebody searches for a hair salon, and your video
thumbnail comes up, it has a 41% higher click through rate than any other website which
means it's going to get more clicks, and you are going to get more phone calls, and your
salon is going to grow as a result. So in conclusion, if your website, your Google+
listing, and your YouTube video are all ranked there on the first page of Google, you're
going to get more phone calls because people are finding you which means your salon is
going to grow like crazy. You might be thinking to yourself, that's great, but how do I do
it? How do I dominate the first page of Google? I've created another free video that's longer,
a little more in depth, that walks you step by step, how to do this.

If you want to watch
that video and progress in this training, all you have to do is just click the button
right here, or the link down in the description, and I'll make sure you get the next video
in this training. So again, just click one of the links, and I'll see you on the next

Salon Marketing - A Salon Business Plan Strategy for Client Retention

Salon Marketing -
Hey it's Dustin with dustinnccorchuk.Com and I'm totally pumped in this video to share with you the four-step
system that we have implemented into our salon to dramatically increase the
return rate of our clients turning first time client into lifelong clients so
stick with me. As a salon owner that lives in a city where there's a salon on every block I totally understand the importance of getting the first time
client to book a second appointment so they can become a return client in your
salon. Of course it's always a great idea to be able to pre-book them while they are still in the salon. But we all know that doesn't always happen so does that
mean that this client is gone for good? Or is there something you can do to
dramatically increase the likelihood of them booking another appointment with
you in the future.

I've created a simple and unique four step system called the Salon
Profit Circle that will dramatically increase the amount of return clients you
get your salon and will also get your clients to share your salon on social
media. The four steps are easy to remember because they all start with the letter S
they are Service, Survey Social Share and Social Proof. The first step is service
and it's probably a no brainer for you when you get a client to sit in your
chair it is your goal to absolutely give them the best customer service and the
best hair service that's possible so that they prebook their next appointment
with you while they're still in there in the salon. When this occurs, you don't even have to do the next three steps.

Step number 2 is a survey. Within 24 hours of your
first time client's visit you wanna send them an email or text message with a link to a
4 or 5 question survey on your website. What this does is it allows your customer to give feedback which gives them a sense of investment in your salon and sets them up for step number three which is where all the money's at. Number three is social
share.

Once they click the submit button on your survey, it redirects them to
another page on your website which says thanks for filling out our survey we'd
like to give you $5 off your next appointment all you have to do is click the Facebook
share button right below this video. When they click the facebook share button
unlocks a voucher for $5 off their next appointment was really sweetens the deal
for them to book their second appointment in your salon. If they're willing to do that
they're willing to come back. They say word of mouth is the best form of
advertising and so not only did you get your first time client to book a second
appointment but you've also got them to share your salon with all their Facebook
friends which really increases the likelihood of their Facebook friends
becoming first-time clients and getting on the salon profit circle.

So you might be
thinking that sounds like an excellent concept but I'd love to see an example
of how it's done so I can implement it into my own salon and that's why I've
created a free four video training series that will walk you step-by-step of the
different parts of the salon profit circle and how to do it in your own salon. In this free
training series I let you look over my shoulder so that you can see exactly
what the client will see as they walk step-by-step through the Salon Profit Circle. All you have to do to get instant access to the salon profit circle
training series is click the button on this video or the link down description if this video has been
helpful and you love the concept definitely give me a thumbs up or if you
have any questions submit those in the comment section below Again the button on the screen or the
link in the description and I look forward to seeing you on the next video.

Rohui & Rawon, Welcome to Madam Kis beauty salon! [The Return of Superman2017.08.20]

Rohui & Rawon, Welcome to Madam Kis beauty salon! [The Return of Superman2017.08.20]
- Hello? / - Hey. Hey. I tried to wash her hair, but she wouldn't let me. (He's consulting someone.) I can't even tie her hair.

Want me to come over and help? I can't do it. I can't even tie her hair. Want me to come over and help? (Who did he ask for help?) (It's Professor Ki.) - Do this style. / - Okay.

(Focused) S.E.S. Debuted the same year I did. She's a colleague I've known for 20 years. Taeyoung is my senior in raising children.

I thought I could learn from him. (I want to learn.) You should tie your hair nicely. (She's like an old man.) (Pinching) (Fumbling) Why aren't you giving me something delicious? Why am I not giving you something delicious? I'll give some to you after this. (Pinching) (Dad, please go easy.) (Her pigtails are done.) (Taeyoung checks if they are even.) (He finishes up.) All done.

Let me see. - Look at me. / - Let's eat this. Rohui.

(It's a cushion plate.) (Eating) I'm going to shower, so you have to wait. (So Jisub?) (Madam Ki's pink headband) (She's eating a snack.) (Dancing) (This peanut is good.) (Excited) (It looked like she was being patient...) Rohui, where are you going? Your dad's in the shower. (Peeking) (Swinging) (Taeyoung didn't notice.) (Giggling) (Excuse me!) (Sneaking) (She has left the scene.) (Hiding and covering up) Are you hiding it there? Rohui, you're such a prankster. (The criminal will always return to the scene.) Dad, what are you doing? Rohui.

Kim Rohui. Kim Rohui. (You can't stop Rohui.) Where are my clothes? Hey, you punk. Where did you put my clothes? I hid it.

Tell me. Where are they? Gosh. (Indifferent) (He covers himself with a cushion.) Rohui, hurry. Where are my clothes? Help me find them.

Find my clothes. Did you hide them? (She looks underneath the couch.) (Oh, is it under there?) Where is it? Where did you put them? Are they in the drawers? Where could it be? If you find my clothes, I'll give you something delicious. Where are they? (Are you trying to trick me? I will...) (Fall for it.) Where are they? Over here. Here? Rohui.

You troublemaker. (Giggling) You punk. (I hid it well, right?) - You... / - Give me a snack.

Give you what snack? I won't give you one. (The two of them lived happily ever after.) Let's go. (Professor Ki is going to his offsite lecture.) It's here. Rohui, you have to say hello when you see him, okay? Okay.

Uncle Taeyoung is here. Rohui must be here, too. - Wow. / - Hello.

- It's Rohui. / - Say hello. - It's Rohui. / - Hello.

- Rohui. / - Go inside. Hello, Rawon. - Uncle.

/ - Let's go. Rawon, give me your hand. - Is he a stranger? / - She's awkward. Didn't you see him on television? Rohui's hair is nice, isn't it? Rohui.

- Isn't she cute? / - How cute. (She found Rawon's rabbit doll.) (Hey, that's mine.) Give it to me. Give it? Try saying that. She's at that age.

Hey. Give it to Rohui. (Should I or not?) Give it to Rohui. Are you giving it to me? Give it to Rohui.

She was never attached to anything. Recently, she became obsessed with that doll. (Now that we look again...) (Is this a hill?) (She has a round belly.) (She has one, too.) (They both have round bellies.) (They're both interested in beauty.) (Slapping) (They know how to dance.) (Let's go!) (Yes!) (I'm the cheerful Rawon.) They're so alike. I brought this with me.

What is it? - It's raspberries. / - Raspberries? Yes. You can have it cold in the summer. It's also good for children's health.

I'm going to eat raspberries. I only had raspberry wine before. (One bite for Dad,) (one bite for Rohui) Dad. Tasty.

Is it tasty? She's feeding you. (Have a bite, Rawon.) (What is this taste?) - Is it good? / - Yes. (Is this real?) (Have a bite.) (Here, Dad.) (Surprised) (She makes trouble gracefully.) Is that how you're going to make trouble? Forget it. It's okay.

(Tapping) This is crazy. (It's time to take care of my skin.) Your face is stained. (What's wrong with my face?) (My goodness!) (Raspberry shower) Both girls now have raspberry moustaches. (Raspberry smile) - Is this it? / - She likes bathing here.

Just once. She hates this. But she's fine when her mom does it. - Really? / - Why? Why do you hate it when I do it? What's the reason? If you want to make Rawon comfortable, use this.

Make her lie down here and sit her down. She can put legs up and lie back here. - Like at a salon. / - I see.

(Wait, that's...) (This is Taeyoung's salon.) (Sleepy) (This feels so good.) Let's put her down. Lie down. Get comfortable. Isn't it comfortable? (Rawon, think of it as your bed.) - How nice.

/ - Isn't it comfortable? (Why does it feel so comfortable?) - Great. Who is this? / - Okay. - Doesn't it feel cool? / - It's like a hair salon. It's so comfortable, isn't it? - She looks comfortable.

/ - Isn't it comfortable? (They're even shampooing her.) It's so comfortable. There we go. Water. Isn't it so comfortable? - Done.

/ - Done. - Yes, you're done. / - Done. What is this? What's that? - I brought equipment.

/ - What's that? (What is it?) - What is this? / - It's Ki's Salon. I'll make Rawon pretty today. This is crazy. What is all this? First, you need to look at the style book.

You can tell me which style you'd like. (Three-way fountain look) These are the various styles Rohui had. (Shrek style) He can even do pigtails. Ki's Salon is open.

(There are also many other styles.) This one first. I need to learn this. The apple style. I need to learn this first.

- Her hair is short. / - I always failed. The women are good at doing it. Okay, you can play with this.

What's this? Glasses. My hand always slips at this point. (Rawon's dad versus Professor Ki) You can see how good Taeyoung is. That's right.

I need to try this. You can try it. Try her back. (Struggling) (His pout shows how focused he is.) It already looks weird.

I can't do it. You'll cover her face. (Will this work?) (Are you sure we can trust my dad?) Gosh. (Her hair is tangled.) I did it.

(It's tied, but...) Is it okay? (He parted her hair in a messy way.) It's... You did it. You did well, but you should try splitting it halfway. (I'll fix it.) Done.

(You should watch my dad.) You're so good. (Finished) You can tie her hair so quickly. (He's working on the other side.) (He's calm even when Rawon moves.) It's important not to drop the hair. (Finished) How cute.

(My daughter looks cute.) How cute. You look so nice. I've learned now. It'd be good if you can split down the middle.

Also, you should focus on the height and the direction. They have to match. Okay, the direction. You should make them symmetrical.

You should try brushing and using your fingers. Rawon, it must feel cool with your hair up. Rawon, you look pretty. Rawon, look.

Do you look pretty? - Pretty. / - You're pretty. You tied her hair so well. (We need a Ki Taeyoung in every house.) Great.

Let's play with Dad. He's fumbling, but he's trying. (Rawon is behaving.) Done. (He successfully ties her hair.) You look pretty..

Review The Revlon Salon 360 Surround StyleNew and NowByrdie

Review The Revlon
Hey, guys! It's Faith, Byrdies editorial director,
and today I am testing out a revolutionary new hair dryer. This is the Revlon 360 Surround AC Styler,
and at first glance, it might just look like any other hair dryer, but you can twist the
nozzle so that you can have this vent right here, and you actually put your hair through,
and it's supposed to smooth and kind of make your hair very sleek and give you that real
blowout, bouncy effect. I just think it looks so cool, and it is really
supposed to be a game changer, and I'm excited to try it out. So as you can see, my hair is damp.

I towel-dried it already. Usually when I blow-dry my hair, it ends up
being pretty poofy, and I end up having to take a curling iron or a straightener and
kind of smoothing it over, so I'm really hoping that this hair dryer will save me that extra
step and just make my hair look really smooth and sleek without having to use another tool
after blow-drying. So I'm gonna start off and put a little bit
this Bumble and Bumble Daytime Protective Repair Fluid in my hair. I like to put this in before heat styling
just to protect my strands and give them a little bit of shine.

It says to use this on damp hair, so I'm just
gonna run it through with my fingers. It smells really nice too. All right, so I put it through my hair, and
now I'm ready to blow-dry, so I'm probably gonna start rough-drawing my hair just on
the normal classic setting, and then once my hair is a little bit more dried, I'll start
using the smoothing section, so let's start. Okay, so as you can see, my hair is probably
50% dry.

It's getting poofier and poofier, so let's
try kind of turning it into this setting and seeing if it will actually smooth my hair. Well start with low. So I just finished doing this half of my head,
and I will say my hair is very straight. I don't necessarily know if it is as sleek
as I kind of was thinking that it would be.

It's almost like a little bit puffy. This is my natural hair texture that's air-drying
into these waves. Just to test it out, I'm gonna do the second
half of my hair just kind of using the traditional hair dryer without the straightening option,
and then maybe we can see if there really is a big difference. So as you can see, there really is a difference.

This side, remember I just rough-dried with
the traditional method, and this side I could turn that nozzle and use the straightener
effect. I don't know if it's as smooth and sleek as
I was expecting it to be, but there's definitely a difference, and I feel like if you're someone
who uses a blow-dryer and always has to use a straightener afterward, I don't know if
it'll completely replace using a straightener, but it does minimize the time that you might
spend. So I think it's a really fun, cool, innovative
product. You can get it for $59.99 At Target, Ulta,
and online as well, and, you know, I'm just constantly amazed at what cool innovations
are coming out of the beauty space, and this is definitely one of them.

So comment below and tell me if there's anything
else you've seen on the internet or your friends have been talking about that you want to see
us try, and we will definitely test it out. I'll see you guys next time. Bye!.

Pittsburghs Best Botox Provider and Beauty Salon Partner for the Face Over Makeover!

Pittsburghs Best Botox
Male: If you ever wished you could have a
little help looking better, and maybe younger, here's your chance to do just that. Female: It's a contest called Face Over Make
Over by Izzazu Salon, Spa & Serata and The Skin Center. One man and one woman will each
win a total beauty makeover, for a new hair cut, and color, plus some cosmetic help with
wrinkles or other cosmetic procedures. And here to tell us more about the contest and
what you can win are Gino Chiodo and co-owner of Izzazu and Dr.

Dominic Brandy of The Skin
Center. Male: Hi, gentlemen. Female: Hi. Male: Welcome, good to have you Gino: Thanks for having us.

Female: This is not just a regular makeover.
Wow, you are gonna look great after this. This sounds awesome. Gino: Well, this is a kick off to historical
event for us because this is the first time that two PhD's have coming together to create
one awesome great look. Well now PhD meaning, me, Professional Hair Dresser, of course.

Male: And the real doctor here. Gino: Of course. The real doctor, that's right. Female: The MD.

All right. So you're gonna
do explain what the contest offers please. Male: Yeah. Where did the idea come from to? Gino: The idea came from we're used to doing
makeovers, of course, and that we take the bone structure and the facial features and
that's the picture, that's what the Doc's gonna take care of now, and then we take and
we put the frame to picture.

So were used to doing makeovers but this is the most extreme
makeover that we've ever done. Male: What are you gonna do, Dr. Brandy, that
the Gino can't do or wouldn't have done in the past? Dr. Brandy: Well, what we'll do is when we
picked the contestant, they'll come into my facility and then I'll get to know them, chit
chat, then I'm gonna analyze their face, bone structure and so forth.

And then I'll make
a recommendation. Might be Botox, some volume, and maybe even surgical procedures I do that
are very short, that are scarless, like the IQ, maybe taking a little fat from the lower
lid. There's a laser we can run under the skin, fat transfer. There's a lot of different things we can do
with this that don't have a scar and that can be done pretty quickly.

Male: So you're not talking a major face lift? Dr: Brandy: No, no, no, no. The things we're
doing in Izzazu would be procedures that take 30 minutes or less. That would be Botox, fillers,
volume like Restylane, Juvederm, you've seen that advertised on television. And then but
possibly we might even do some little surgical procedures.

Male: Well, here's a before and after. What
are we looking at here? Tell us what's been done in this picture. Dr. Brandy: Well, this would be volume enhancement.
You can see that the cheeks are a little bit fuller than they were before.

The nasolabial
folds are a little softer. So that would be... You know, you've seen the Juvederm commercials.
That's hyaluronic acid, so you kind of inject that into the area. You can see this woman, same thing.

The nasolabial
fold area, right in here, you can see it softer. Essentially we inject a little bit of filler
in there that will typically last anywhere from 6 months to a year. And then they would
come back in to Izzazu and have that repeated. Female: And so for the contest, you're gonna
do that and then you'll finish it out with the whole new hair and make up look? Gino: Of course.

The frame is what we do then,
and we look at the great work that the doctor has done. And just like any consultation,
we're gonna evaluate the bone structure, and we look at the facial features and then we
look at the hair. Our goal is to really try to come up with a really great look that's
gonna balance everything that the doctors doing. But most importantly, to be sure that
the contestant is gonna be able to reproduce that look at home...

We want them to be successful
as well. So it's really, really exciting because this is the first time, like I was saying
before, that two artists have come together to create one amazing look. Male: How long have you guys known each other? Dr. Brandy: Oh, we've known each other for
long.

Gino: We've known for a long time. Male: Did this thought never come up before? Gino: Well, you know what, we've talked about
it back and forth. The way I got to meet the doctor, he did my hair and when I went through
that, he did a phenomenal job, I get compliments on that all the time. And so we've had a great
relationship.

His work is meticulous. I love what he does. I'm huge fan of his work. And
then we just thought what would be great to do an Express Center in various locations.
And, of course, we have one that's located right in our downtown location.

Female: Meaning when people come to get their
hair done, they can also get some of these shorter procedures that you're talking about? Gino: Exactly right. Female: Right there at Izzazu. Gino: It's been perceived very, very well
to this point. We're doing really, really great because, you know, women are really,
really busy so we want to make sure that time is very valuable.

So we want to see have one
place where they want to go. Dr. Brandy: Put it to good use. Gino: Yes, exactly.

Female: Okay. So who can enter the contest? Gino: Well, anyone. We're looking for two;
a man and a women, as you were stating earlier. Male: By the way, typically guys, who's harder
worker on; the male or the female species? Dr.

Brandy: The females are way easier. Male: Oh! Is that right? Dr. Brandy: Men never listen to the instructions,
and it's that way around the world. I go to meetings.

I talk to doctors from China, India,
South America. They all say the same thing. Female: All right. So one man, one women.
Are you doing it based on the photos they send in or based on the story of why they
want it? How are you gonna decide? Gino: We're gonna ask for five sentences.
We'll keep it simple.

And then a photo of the front and the back and the side to side. Dr. Brandy: We could have a front and a side
view. Gino: Front and the side view.

And then the
process of doctor and I are gonna get together and we're gonna check out the photos and were
gonna read the stories and then were gonna go from that. Female: Oh, we can't wait to see the results.
Thank you, guys. Gino: This is so exciting. It's so historical
for us.

People Dye Their Hair Gray For The First Time

People Dye Their Hair Gray For The First Time
(Drumming) (whooshing and creaking)
(drumming) (upbeat music) - I've never dyed my hair. I have no dying in to my hair so we'll see what it's about. - I'm not very nervous. Not very excited.

Afraid it's gonna hurt. Just feels like my head's being painted. - [Girl] I really hope
my hair doesn't fall out 'cause I super bleach it at home but I have really great
expectations for this. Like, I can't wait to have gray hair.

- I feel great right because I have these nice ladies distracting me from the fact
(ladies laugh) that I'm bleaching my hair. I'm going for, like Disney villain. So, I have pretty high expectations. - I don't have my glasses on
so I can't really see myself but what I can see
(woman laughs) I feel, like, I was like Cisco.

- I can see it going kind of blond. - In order to go gray you
need to lift their hair to the lightest yellow blond possible. No way possible you get
it that late in one shot. - Well, I just found out we're doing round two of the bleaching so (laughs).

- It feels like Play-Doh in a plastic bag. - It's looks pretty crazy right now. - Well, the liner does strip
the hair from everything - Mm-hm. - That was in the hair strand but the
- Yeah.

- B3 that we put in
the color helps deposit proteins, conditioning agents. So, even though we're
stripping out pigment we're still adding in proteins and things to keep your hair strong. (Upbeat music) - I think I'm tearing up. It burns so bad.

- I'm feelin' pretty good right now. So, I'm not crying like Leo. - Feel like a practical joke right now. - Three rounds of bleach.

- [Stylist] Three rounds of bleach. - I feel the need to apologize for how labor intensive it is. - I thought it was gonna be way easier. Kinda like a one two and go.

But no, we've been here for, I
think, like, three hours now? - [Girl] Finally putting in the gray. Oh, I don't know where I am right now. So many chemicals right now. - I'm really excited.

I mean, this was just the steps. So, I don't know. You don't know until it's all done. - This part's the most surreal.

The getting my hair cut and just having the hair falling off
green-gray is super strange. - [Leo] I mean, to think about the fact that just when I came in my hair was black and now it is gray. It's kind of impressive because
it's almost, like, magic. - I was a super light-haired girl so it's easier for them
but I couldn't imagine what it's like for a dark haired person.

- [Girl] I have had thoughts about whether this is, like, some
senior cultural appropriation. - I love it. - No. - [Voiceover] With your glasses on? Woah.

(Laughs) - [Voiceover] Look at that smile. - That's crazy. - I'm ready to take this
granny hair to the world. Show some whipper snappers how it's done.

- And really well done. My hair feels healthier
than before I came in. So, it's great. - I'm a fan.

It's definitely different and I don't know if I would, like do it again because it takes so much, such a long time to do it so I definitely appreciate
what it actually is for fun or for any reason. - It was fun. It felt like I was getting
my hair washed for, like, four hours straight. I'm into it.

- But damn, do I look good. I'm sorry, I love it. Robin did an amazing job. I feel like I have a
whole life ahead of me even though I look kinda 80.

(Gentle music) (whooshing and creaking).
